Preface/Introduction

Hello everyone~ This is Kisaki~

I am not very good at introductory notes, 

but.... I suppose I should give you a bit of background on the story before we roll right into the first chapter. If you dislike long forewords, feel free to skip this one.

About the Title--Origin Story

"Cloud Prince"--a story I started back in November 2014 on a website called Textnovel--was technically my first attempted Keitai Shousetsu (cellphone novel). It was created partially out of curiosity for the style (though I admit I did not fully understand the format and word limit rules or even what I was trying to do back then, so does it really count as a first CPN? (^^")) and partially out of pent-up frustration. During that unbearably long year, when unforeseen circumstances continually interrupted peaceful days and close family friends started disappearing one by one...

I began to imagine what it would feel like to be able to talk to someone about my troubles. Whether an old acquaintance or a complete stranger...it becomes a great comfort to have someone in this world just listen impartially, especially when you feel alone.

When you think there is at least one person who would understand you and never doubt your words...

It's almost like...

A light of hope amidst the fog.

And thus, I found the premise to my story. (Kind of embarrassingly cheesy...hehe.)

The title was just something I came up with when I thought about the kind of person my main character would be drawn to at first glance, but there is a meaning behind it, which you will find out later...probably. If you are still reading by then...(⌒_⌒;)

About CPNs

Most of these chapters will be re-posted with small changes to them, since my writing has also evolved over time.
