Kumo put his hand to his chin in a pensive gesture.

I edged closer to him to hear what he had to say.

He paused briefly

before opening his mouth to speak.

                "I don't know."

The words were followed by a shrug.

                    "Why you-!"

"But I guess I'll need to find out."

He grinned widely as he finished.

For a moment,

I almost felt mad for letting him reel me in
and then pull out before giving me a chance to hear his thoughts.
But his last words mollified the simmering rage.

Even if he didn't directly say it,

I knew they held a deeper meaning to them.

         Does this mean...

                    he wants to see me again?
