Luckily for me,
lunchtime was fast approaching.

I packed away my books
(and the scribbled-on sheet)
into my desk.
I was practically jumping out of my seat,
awaiting the bell that would dismiss us.

As soon as the familiar toll resounded,
my teacher stopped his lecture
and subsequently excused himself.

Two of my friends in the class
got up from their seats
and immediately walked over to me.
