A smile appeared on his face as he said so.
It was a gentle expression that gave me a glimpse of his personality.
Full of kindness and warmth--
as if he was speaking to an old friend.
Something in me stirred--
and I felt obliged to answer.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" I commented nonchalantly.
The boy turned around at my response
with a momentary look of surprise.
"Funny... I was just thinking the same thing."
