I woke up to the sound of my mother screaming my name.

"Thalia!! Jason!! Get out of bed and come down stairs! We need to talk!"

I groaned and put my hands to my face trying to block out the sun that was shining through the window.

"Thalia!! Jason!!"their mother called again. I groaned again and rolled out of bed. I went to the bathroom, threw on some clothes, brushed my teeth, and went downstairs.

There Jason was already waiting, sitting on the recliner chair, and our mother sitting on the couch. I took a seat on the armrest of the couch, farther away from their mother.

"Finally, does it take you kids a million years to get down here?"she asked exasperated, I was about to talk back but Jason gave her a warning look, I rolled my eyes and settled for glaring at our mother.

Our mother's eyes were half closed, it was easy to tell she had been hitting the happy juice.
She cleared her throat."Now,the school has let me know that you will not be attending it anymore, cause of that little, ah, incident in the lunch room-"but I cut her off.
"Wait we're suspended just because of what happened? Why are we getting suspended, it wasn't our fault!"I yelled at our mother. She looked at me sternly,"Do not interupt young lady!"she yelled at her. I rolled my eyes.
"But Mom it wasn't our fault, we're not the ones who started it."Jason tried to reason with her.

"ENOUGH! I've heard enough! You two are to be sent to a boarding school in New York city, you will behave and NOT get kicked out. Now go to your rooms and start packing, you two are leaving tomorrow!"she yelled at them,then she got up and stumbled out of the living room and into her room.

I was shocked, mother was really sending us their. Angrily, I got up,and went up stairs to my room and slammed the door behind me.
I went to my closet and started packing, once I was finished, I put my suitcase beside the bed and collapsed on her bed, and just glared at the ceiling.

There was a small knock on my door, and then Jason came in closing the door behind him, and sat on my bed beside me,
"You okay Thals"he said. I saw him wince at how much of a stupid question that was. I sighed angrily and sat up.
"New York city? Really? Okay I didn't know she hates us that much."I said. Jason chuckled.

"Look It could be worse, we could be separated."he said,"I know."I said. I looked at him apologeticly,
"I'm sorry I got us into this mess."I told him, he scrunched up his eyebrows
"It wasn't your fault, I chose to do what I did, okay that wasn't your fault what happened in the cafeteria."he said.
We talked some more about what would probably happen at New York city what we would do, though there was still some bad memories of that place.

We didn't realize how dark it had gotten, until Jason said,"It's getting dark outside, you should get some sleep."he said, we hugged, he got up and turned out the lights,"Night big sis."he said
"Night baby brother."I said then he closed the door as I drifted into sleep.
