The school

📕Still Annabeth's pov📕

"Are you guys okay?"Piper asked, her eyes filled with concern. Hazel wiped away her tears and nodded.
Thalia, Jason and Nico nodded as well and wiped away tears.
"Yeah it's just . . .the last time we saw him . . .It's difficult."Jason said, his voice cracking.

I nodded, the whole way the taxi was quiet. Until we pulled up to the school. We all stepped out and grabbed our luggage.

We looked at the school, it was gigantic. It had two floors and was a peach color on the outside with concrete stairs on the outside going to the second floor.

We walked to the office where we were kindly greeted by a teacher.
"Why are you all not in class?! I will not tolerate skippers!"she yelled.
"Um miss, we're new students here."Jason said.
The teacher raised her eyebrows and nodded, her mouth in the shape of an O.

"Oh, so you're the rest of the new transfers. Ok if you will just follow me to this room, we will explain how things are going to work."she said them beckoned us into a room.
In the room were four people, two of them were students and were sitting in desks.

The other two looked like security guards, and were standing on either side of a kid that looked like a Latino elf, he had short curly brown hair with a tool belt wrapped around his waist.

He kept poking one of the security guards in the side and repeatedly saying
"Can we go now

Can we go now "he kept saying, I could tell he was annoying the hell out of the security guards.
In the desk on the far end of the classroom, was a pretty annoyed looking Chinese Canadian looking baby man.

We all took a seat that was available. Piper on the other side of one of the security guards.
On the other side of security guy number two was me, next to me was Jason, then Thalia, and then Hazel, and then Nico, and lastly the Chinese guy.
Finally the Latino kid shut up when the teacher went to go sit at the desk in front of us and grabbed a ruler and tapped it against her hand.

"Now, your gaurdians have informed me why exactly you were kicked out of your old school and sent to this one.
And I will tell you now, I will not tolerate fights, I will not tolerate liars, I will not tolerate pranks, I will have respectful students. Does everyone understand."she said in a hard voice.

She looked at the Latino elf,
"Leo Valdez am I clear?"the teacher said. The boy looked at her and have her a mischievous smile.
"Yes sir, I mean ma'am."he said in a goofy voice and fake saluting her.

The teacher rolled her eyes, then turned to the Chinese guy, she went to his desk and stood in front of it.
"I will not tolerate misbehavoir Frank Zhang do I make myself clear."she said. So I guess Frank was his name, Frank looked up annoyed.
"I didn't-"he started but got cut off.
"Do I make myself clear?!"she said in an angry tone, and smacked her ruler against her hand.
Frank glared at her,
"Yes."he said.

The teacher then went over to piper's desk and leaned over it,
"Piper McLean, just because your dad is Mr movie star does not mean you will get out of trouble at this school."she said, piper rolled her eyes,
"I never said-"Piper started, but got cut off.
"And do NOT roll your eyes at me young lady."The teacher said, smacking her ruler against her desk.
"Fine old lady!"Piper shot back at her.

Leo snickered and high fived piper, the teachers face turned red, she pointed her ruler at Leo and piper
"This, I will not tolerate this-"she started,
"What, fun?"Leo said cutting her off.

The teacher smacked her ruler against Leo's desk.
"Back talk."she said looking him in the eye. Leo rolled his eyes.
"Listen lady, I really don't care-"he started,
"Um yes, nothing to worry about, he'll be good."the security guard said, clearing his throat and cutting Leo off.

The teacher sighed, trying to hold back her anger, she went over to Jason and Thalia's desks.
"Jason and Thalia Grace, I will not have you two making trouble in my school. You both will follow the rules, understood?"she said, Jason nodded.
"Understood."he said, the teacher looked at Thalia who was glaring at the ground, she gave the teacher a small nod.

The teacher went over to Hazel and Nico.
"You both will do good in this school, and you will obey, understood?"she said, Nico and Hazel nodded. The teacher sighed and went to my desk,
"Annabeth Chase, you will do good in this school and be respectful. Understood?"she said, I glared at her but nodded.

"Alright, this goes for all of you. I do not want trouble makers in my school.
You all will listen, obey, and behave. I will assign a student to show you all around.
This school celebrates holidays, this school has dances that are mandatory to attend.
Once the school year is over, we will contact your parents and give them a choice that is none of your concern until that day comes.

But for now, I will have a student show you all around. Go to the front desk, there will be a lady waiting there, tell her you're the new transfers, she will call in a student to show you guys around the school, take you to your lockers, and your dorm rooms. Dismissed."she said.
We all got up and went out the door. We went to the front desk where there was lady waiting.
"Are you guys the new transfers?"she asked we all nodded.

The lady nodded her head and went to the school phone and dialed a numbered, and held up the phone to her ear.
There was a muffled voice on the other end.
"Hi yes. . .yes is he ready. . .ok. . .ok bye."she said into the phone.

She turned to us,
"Your guide will be here shortly, please have a seat."she said gesturing to a couple of seats.
We all took seats, except the security guards stayed back talking in hushed tones.
I sat next to the Latino elf guy. I noticed how he kept inching towards the edge of his seat and taking second glances at the security guards, and was eyeing the door.

The security guards and the lady were raising their voices by now.
"Don't worry I can assure you, he'll be safe with us and won't run away."the lady said loud enough for us to hear.

They went on arguing, but we all looked towards Leo.
He had his jaw clenched and was glaring at the door.
He sighed and was about to get up to make a run for it, but Jason placed a hand on his knee.
"Hey, don't listen to them. Don't let them control you. Don't let them stand in the way of you being happy."he said. Leo looked at him, and smiled.
"Thanks."Leo said, Jason smiled.
"No problem bro."he said.
We all just sat their talking to each other, until a boy about our age came in the office.
