Most people would be happy that this amazingly beautiful place was their home. Not me. Why did it take so long for me to find out? Why didnt anyone tell me sooner?

"You are kidding me. Right?" I ask, trying to keep my voice calm.

Jason smiles. "Yup, It's all yours sweetheart!" He says happily.

I shake my head. "You mean to tell me, that all this time, I was actually meant to be somebody?" I ask. My whole life I grew up thinking that my real parents hated me and that I was a reject. I feel my blood start to boil.

"Yes, and you should be proud, you are a Kiteheart, a princess. You are to be the queen." He says seriously.

"You mean my parents are the King and Queen?" I ask surprised.

"Yup, well kinda, they are dead. But alive in visible spirits. No longer here physically."

I widen my eyes. "So they arnt alive?" I ask.

I let my anger out and slap him across the face. He turns back to face me with a red hand print on his cheek. His eyes look outraged and he starts to say something.

He doesnt get the chance. We both turn as we hear the clinking of the gates open. I am stunned speachless as I gaze upon the majestic beauty.

The inside was all pure white and it had beautiful specks of gold. There were large colums holding up the tall roof. I look ahead and see two large stair cases leading up to an unknown multitude of floors.

I hear footsteps aproaching. I look to Jason. He shrugs and we walk to the stair cases. We reach the steps.

"Hey Jason!" I hear. We both turn around to see a tall boy about Jason's age. He has dark black hair that shags in a messy way just above his eyes. His eyes are emerald green, that would make any girl's heart flutter. Even mine...

"Oh, So you must be the princess." He says.

I notice the clinking of his belt, which held multiple weapons that I couldn't even begin to explain.

"Leave her alone Rowan." I hear Jason say lowly. I turn to face him surprised.

"Jason, What th-" I start to ask. He grabs my hand and drags me up the stairs. I turn to see a smirking Rowan. He winks at me and I turn my head blushing.

As we walk up the stairs I yank my hand away from Jason. "What the heck was that about?" I ask angry.

He says nothing and keeps walking up the stairs. I sigh and follow him.

We reach the highest floor and I am practically dead. I weeze unattractively. Well, I guess I probably should have taken P.E. Jason looks at me and smiles teasingly.

"Shut up." I huff. He rolls his eyes and starts to walk down the tall hallway.

I sigh and follow him.

"So I am guessing you are tired. Your room is this way." He stops at a white door ingraved with turqious swirls and snow flakes. I smile and trace a swirl. Then frown and face Jason.

"Wait a minute, I need answers. How the heck are my parents dead, but alive in spirit, and-"

"Zoey, You need sleep, and your questions will be answered in the morning. Be patient Sweetheart, and all will come to you." He smiles and walks down the hall causually. I sigh and open my door.

The room is amazing. The ceilings are tall and my bed has an amazing canopy. The design is white with turqiose, which I find irronic because my favorite color is turquoise. I smile and walk to my bed tired. The compfotor looks like it has a leapord like print. I slip under the covers and look out my window. I see a small slip of paper on the end table next to my bed and grab it.

Hello, Zoey, Cant wait to see you tomorrow,we love you. -Mom and Dad

I smile at the letter. I hope I can meet them. I lay back down and close my eyes. No dreams come, just a comfortable black obis.
