Mommy Det: So Jho tell me about yourself
Jho: Ti- uhm mommy I actually live in Lipa Batangas with my family. I have a younger sister & my dad works far away that's why we rarely see him
Mommy Det: Isn't it hard like you're already living far away from your family & when you get home, the family is still not complete
Bea just looked at Jho feeling all concerned and she wanted to comfort her but something's stopping her
Jho: I got used to it po and whenever I think of it having the family complete feels like a reward for working so hard here in the city
Daddy Elmer: Like what your mommy det said earlier, we'll be your family here
Jho: Thank you po for everything and thank you bea
Bea just nodded at her while smiling grinning from ear to ear. They just finished lunch when they decided to chill by the backyard
Bea: Glad your able to adjust well with my family
Jho: They were very welcoming that it felt like I've know for them for a long time now
Bea: They were always that welcoming to everybody. I must have got that trait from them you know, being so kind to everyone
Jho: I don't mind though. Glad you're able to see your family like this, a quick drive around the area but in my case it would take you three hours then only an hour to stay because you still have a long trip home
Bea: Yeah, that's maybe the reason why they told me to study in ateneo instead of la salle because this feels much more closer to home. Want me to drive you home so that you can visit your family? You must be missing them so much
Jho: No I wouldn't want to burden you too much. I usually look forward to going home only when the family's really complete like my dad's home because I wouldn't have the feeling of being lonely still while being there
Bea: I wouldn't mind. You can just tell me and we can visit. We can also let my family come so we you can also tour us around your hometown.
Jho: sounds great, thank you! I'll inform you when and hopefully we'll be free by the time dad's home
They got too carried away with their talk that it was already 3pm. Daddy Elmer went to Jho and Bea at the backyard along with the maid whose carrying merienda for them to eat
Daddy Elmer: You girls look like you were into some deep and serious heart to heart talks that I almost didn't want to bother you but just wanted to hand you merienda. You two must be hungry by now
They were startled because Daddy Elmer approached them so sudden but soon recovered for him not to notice
Jho: Thank you daddy for the food
Bea had to look at Jho when he called his dad that way because it still surprises her that she's already close with her parents.
Bea: Dad we'll be leaving at around 5 because we still have another training at 6. I'll try to visit once I get free again
Daddy Elmer: Oh ok too bad we were only able to bond for a short while. Can't wait for you to return again and next time we'll bond much more longer than this
They nodded and proceeded with eating the merienda before leaving
Bea: Dad sorry but we really need to go now. Promise we'll be back soon!
Daddy Elmer: I'll miss you Isabel, don't forget to text or call us from time to time okay so that we'll still be updated
Bea: I won't forget
They said this while giving each other a tight hug and by this time mommy det also comes out the backyard to join them
Jho: Thank you daddy elmer & mommy det for today, I really had fun & appreciate you welcoming we warmly into your home
Mommy Det: No worries jho, you'll always be welcome here
They gave each other one last goodbye before jho and bea leaves the house. Bea held into Jho's hand to stop her in her tracks to say one last thing before they left
Bea: Jho, promise that when I go back home again that you'll go with me again?
Jho: I can't guarantee you a promise but why?
Bea: Because I feel like when I go back here without you it wouldn't feel complete anymore. You make this home feel like home because you complete me Jho
Jho was left speechless with what Bea just said. It's still too early yet for their friendship and yet Bea is already getting too attached and close. There's a part of her that's nervous of what's about to happen but right now...
Jho: I can't assure you that I'll always be there but if asked if what makes me feel complete, comfortable and at home then I'd pretty much say the same thing
Bea can just look at Jho and be thankful for what she just said. While holding onto her hand, she already feels at home and she may not be sure of what she's feeling but she may be falling for her best friend
Then they left while Bea's arm is over Jho's shoulder and Jho's side hugging her
