Paint Me Like One of Your Nifflers

It was a beautiful day. Well it was always a beautiful day in your friend Newt's case. You took down your easel and watercolors to the forested area and began sketching various creatures. Then you set to painting. Your brush glided carefully across the canvas making sure to get the details just right.

Just as you finished the niffler, Newt comes up behind you, "That's incredible." He says.

"Thanks, it's just a sketch" you deflect.

"I should have you 'sketch' for my book"

"Really?"

"Of course!"

You blush and go back to painting. You get a thought, "Hey what if I paint you?"

"Hmm?"

"It might be fun? I don't know it was just a thought"

Newt smiles, "Certainly". He poses on a stool. You start tapping into your inner artist, "Actually, could you turn around? And um head turned slightly-yes!" You then think about his scars, oh how you wanted to paint them on the canvas! "Newt?"

"Hm?"

"This is going to sound a bit strange but could you take your shirt off?"

"What?"

"Well I just kind of a artistic choice, but it's just kind of a symbolic type look on it. But you don't have to if you don't want to!"

"No no I will I am just the model" he says giving a cheeky smile.

He unbuttons his shirt and places them in the ground. You can't help but stare at his toned scarred body. Burn marks and scratches were nearly everywhere and you hold your hand to your mouth in shock.

"I told you it's not a pretty sight I don't really show them off." He looks flushed.

"No it's not that it just looks like it really hurts"

"Not so much anymore they're healed mostly"

A moment of silence is exchanged.

"So are you going to paint me or not?" Newt smiles.

You get to work. Making sure that each stroke is perfect in capturing the shadows and claw marks. Every freckle is perfect in shape.

You finally finish, "Newt? It's finished" you and him gaze proudly at your work.

"That's incredible!" Newt says in shock.

"Really?"

"Yeah it looks like I'm in a mirror! Wow!"

"You honestly look kind of hot with those scars"

"Oh really?"

"Yeah" you blush.

"Maybe I should keep this shirt off more often then."
