chapter 13- lord mau, hidden love

Your skin as white as snow, your dress glistening in the moon light. You  slowly make your way around the ball that's held in a garden far from a manor. It seemed almost odd considering is said it was a under ground ball. It was playing heavily on your mind as people danced around you. You could see that sebastian and ciel had not found lord mau either. Lords should alway great his guest as the come but he was not to be seen.
Then you notice someone slipping away into a maze, so you followed. By your surprise, you arrive at spiral stair case going down. You make your way down and are hit my the overpowering stench of pigs blood.
You pause and hold your hand you your face to cover the smell coming to your nose.
You notice the Lord you were looking for, it wasn't long before sebastian was behind you to. You approach lord mau with a smile and you courtesy. "My lord, thank you for your invitation". He comes unbearably close to you and moves your hair to smell your neck "you smell familiar my lady" he licks your neck, before he bares his fangs he whispers your name as his eyes glisten. Before be has the chance to taste your blood sebastian pulls at his shoulder "my lord, this is not the time for such formalities. We have business with you my lord" he glares at sebastian with anger, sebastian makes his eyes glow to reveal who he was. " Oh, a demon. Well, isn't this nice. Then there is you my fair lady, heavens most beautiful" you cut in quickly "human, yes we are fully aware of this odd arrangement. We come here to talk to about the recent killings in London"
After a full disclosure of the murders, lord mau fully agrees with your theory. The Lord informs you of a disgraceful noble vampire that's been turning humans into vampires to abide his sick greed. Then to your surprise he asked for your help. You both agree as it was in your best interests to solve the case.
Once the deal is made, you and sebastian begin to leave. Your suddenly unable to move forward anymore, next you feel breathing on your neck. You gasp ,sebastian turns quickly to see you, as lord mau holds you. He whispers "please my lady, let me taste your blood again. It's been so long, I have yearned for you my love. I haven't tasted anything as devine as your blood in my entire existence. I know you will never love me as i do for you. I'll make it worth your while" before you could speak, fangs pop your skin as he holds you close to his warm body. You could feel he being as gentle as he could but it burned. Sebastian eyes where full of rage.
Sebastian pulls you away once the Lord let's you go, but you stumble. Sebastian takes no time in lifting you into his arms and leaving. Just as you leave you look back to see the Lords eyes watery as you leave in another man's arms.
