chapter 11 - underground ball

You chase the dark figure down the ally. As you gain on it you notice it is a young boy, clearly a poor boy. You notice he's carrying leaflets. ~ delivery of leaflets in a ally?~ the boy comes to a halt and knock a strange rytheme on the door. A very smartly dressed man greets the boy like a old friend. The boy is off running again in a flash after he gives the man a leaflet. You scoop in as pinch one leaflet hanging from his back pocket. You have up the chase and when back to the ally you first ran down. You swiftly turn back to a human and dash to the bakery shop as you knew that's where they would go next.
You beat them there so you ordered a tea as you waited in the cafe area. You pull out the leaflet, it was rather crumpled. You straighten it out and begin to read. Once you read it you began to ponder. Then the bell rings from the door opens. Your eyes shoot to the door, then you giggles and smile. " what took you so long young lord" a lady brings the tea you pre ordered for the earls arrival.
You hand over the leaflet and tell them about it. " seems there's a fancy under ground ball. It's a bit suspicious. They where delivered by a rather poor child, for those whom are clearly upper class. " the Earl looks at you as you pull out a small utensil to look at it closer. "My lord, this may be linked to vampires. Look here in the logo. At first I thought it was decorative squiggles" you let sebastian and the Earl look closer. Sebastian looks at you " my lady, this is a very old unused language" you giggle as you speak the words it's says " a rough translation is come dine with me in the bloody sea. . . Only creature that use this are vampires. We have a week until the ball. We should try to get involved. Shouldn't be to hard with the young lords status"
- couple hours pass -
After an afternoon of enquiries you find that it his held by lord mau. You sit and sigh heavily. You know too well who this man is, he's a noble vampire. He's so respectful and gentle, but he knows who and what you are. You can't tell the Earl you know him or that he is noble vampire. He'd ask so many questions such as why hadn't I contacted this vampire sooner for information on the case. You sigh harder ~I thought he was in Switzerland ~ I hope this doesn't end badly.
