The flight attendants voice droned on throughout the painfully long flight. Children screamed and parents moaned obnoxiously. I on the other hand attempted to stay calm despite my nerves. Today I was travelling back home after 3 years.

As a child I grew up in Melbourne with my mother and I spent most of my teenage years there too. I didn't know who my father was but that didn't upset me as I never got the chance to know him which meant I never got attached. I lived in a quiet area of Melbourne, despite not being the richest of families, me and my mother settled down in a reasonably nice house. Our neighbours were rowdy boys and although they annoyed me, I grew to love them.

They were in a similar situation to ours and Gina seemed to bond with my mum well and before I knew it, I was spending everyday with those annoying boys. Beau was the oldest of the three, Luke being second oldest but only by minutes as he had a twin, Jai. I was the same age as them both, a few months younger than them.

At the age of 13 I began to enjoy the concept of modelling. I wanted to be seen as beautiful, as graceful. I began to really get into modelling and at the age of 15 I was signed to a company and modelled for various brands. I was no Gigi Hadid or Kendall Jenner but I wasn't far behind them and it amazed me. My family had never been prouder and I had never been happier. However, after 3 years I needed more than a few days off, I needed a short break. I only intended to make it 2 weeks at most but I just wanted to go home.

I woke up to the sound of ringing and the flight attendant again. We were instructed to fasten our seatbelts as the plane was landing. Around 15-20 minutes later we were safely on the ground and I'd never felt happier. I was finally home. I grabbed my luggage after being pushed around by a few people and headed off of the plane into the airport.

As soon as I turned on my phone it was flooded with messages and tweets, however I ignored them and went straight to texting my mum.

Mum: Hey Hun, hope you had a great flight! I'm so sorry but I'm on a business call for 4 days but Gina said the boys were happy enough to let you stay with them! Have a wonderful time, I'll see you when I'm back x
P.s Beau will pick you up at the airport

I groaned slightly as I ran a hand through my hair. I loved my mum, I really did but all I wanted was to see her right now, she was the main reason I was back at home right now.
"Oh well, I'll see her soon enough." I thought to myself, trying my best to stay positive.

After 10 minutes of fighting through crowds I spotted Beau, his brown hair swept over his head, his SnapBack keeping most of it hidden. I couldn't help but smile at the familiar face. He looked amazing, he had grew up so much and I was almost upset that I had missed that.

Before I knew it I was quickly walking over. "Beau!" I said, causing his eyes to quickly flicker away from his phone.
"Kylie!" He said, equally as excited as his arms wrapped around my waist in a tight hug. I had missed him so much, he was like a brother to me. He'd always looked after me, no matter what and I felt like I could never repay him for that.

The drive home went by fast, despite it being a couple of hours. We spoke about what we did now. I spoke about my modelling whilst he spoke about the Janoskians. I was so proud of them, they'd came so far and they were even touring the world now. It all made me realise how much I wish I could've stayed with them though.
