I sat and watched as the party slowly became smaller. Although it wasn't the small party I was promised it was fairly quiet and relaxed. I sat with Jai yet again, leaning against him for support after the many drinks I'd consumed intoxicated me. Me, Beau, James, Daniel, Luke and Jai were sat around a circle coffee table, a line of shots in the middle. We all played never have I ever which was fairly easy.

"Never have I ever went skinny dipping." I said as I watched most of the boys take a shot other than James. "Never have I ever had sex," Beau shrugged, taking a shot as the others did so as well. I awkwardly sat there looking down at my lap as I heard Luke laugh. "You're a virgin?" He questioned as of course me not taking a shot wasn't enough to confirm it. "Yes," I mumbled awkwardly. Jai wrapped his arm around my waist and squeezed it gently. " I think that's cute," he smiled although I knew it wasn't.

"Never have I ever had a crush on anyone in this group. Drink for every person you've liked." Daniel smirked, not taking a shot. I watched the Brooks brothers all take a shot, causing me to furrow my eyebrows. Luke had a crush on me? I took two shots and felt myself become more intoxicated than I already was. Not sure if it was my vision or if Luke was simply as intoxicated as I was - I watched him sway before grabbing onto Daniels upper arm to steady himself.

"I'll be right back," I murmured as I felt myself becoming uneasy. I wasn't sure what it was but I knew I needed to get out of here for now. Jai's hand slipped back into his lap and I pushed myself up, wobbling a little as I did so. I made my way to the kitchen, stumbling more than I intended.

I leaned over the counter and looked out of the window, sighing quietly. I let my head rest in my hands, closing my eyes briefly. Although I should be having the time of my life I felt as if I wanted to curl up and cry. I couldn't blame it on anything else other than Luke. I had no clue what was wrong with him but he was treating me like I was a stranger.

"What's up with you?" I heard someone mutter, the voice carried a deep slur. "Nothing." I sighed before turning around, shocked when I saw Luke stood in front of me. "You're not convincing me, princess." He said, rolling his eyes as he moved to stand in front of me. My back was pressed against the counter, his body only inches away from mine. "Princess?" I laughed, rolling my eyes - a hiccup following shortly after my laugh.

"Just tell me what's wrong. I'm drunk, take advantage of that." He murmured and moved his arms so they were either side of me; his eyebrows raised slightly as he took his lip-ring between his teeth. I watched as his mesmerising eyes raked every inch of my body, from head to toe. His hair sat perfectly on top of his head, his lips in a perfect pout.

"Luke-" I started but was suddenly cut off when the door was opened, a shocked Daniel stood in the doorway. "I-" he stuttered, almost as shocked as I was. A blush crept onto my cheeks and Luke effortlessly pushed himself away from me before holding a glass up to Daniel. "I was just getting my beer, chill out." He chucked and Daniel furrowed his eyebrows but nodded.

Why was I thinking those thoughts about Luke? What the hell was wrong with me? I allowed myself to blame it on the alcohol, shaking my head. "You're a cunt." I muttered as I shoved passed him before walking out passed Daniel. I bit down on my lower lip as I made my way back over to the sofa where Jai and Beau were watching a horror movie.

The room was filled with multiple empty alcohol bottles and smoke filled the room. I groaned as I knew in the morning this would all be here; a reminder of tonight. Although I blamed my anger on Luke being nice to me all of a sudden, for no reason, I knew I was also disappointed. I really thought something was about to happen between us.
