Chapter 2

🔱Percy's POV🔱
     The first thing I saw when I opened my eyes was a big, wide screen with a keyboard below it.

On the screen you could see a text that said Username: and a flicking stick next to it.

I assumed this was where I would put what I would like to call myself in-game. Of course, I mean, what else could it be?

I started thinking what I would call myself, and finally deciding on it.

I started typing in my username, and as soon as I clicked enter, I got surrounded by white and blue square particles.

As soon as they disappeared, I saw a beautiful landscape in the distance, but I was surrounded by a modern, but at the same time classic town that had a lot of players wandering around. Or what I assumed were players.

In front of me a text appeared.

Welcome PercyJackson, to Sword Life Online!

I was lucky no one chose this username, but at the same time, there is not a lot of people who have my name. Or maybe there is, who knows.

Anyways, I started walking around the town, checking how my body works, and talking about bodies, the game replicated mine exactly how I look. I wasn't expecting the scan to work as good as it did, so Im pretty happy about it.

After I learned about how the game works, I started heading towards an NPC that had as a name Starter kit.

I talked to the NPC and got a wooden, but sharp sword with a hard leather chest-plate. I guess this was okay for now.

I looked around to see if I could find a sign that said where to go, but I couldn't so I did the next best thing.

"Do you know where I could find the way out of this town?"

"No? Okay, thank you" Apparently no one knew the way out of this town.

I sat down next to a fountain and started thinking about how to get out.

I looked around, and saw a guy running around the market. He was doing the same thing I was doing 10 minutes ago. He seemed to also be a new player, so I decided to maybe get together with him.

I stood up, and started walking towards him. As I got closer to him, I could see him better. He was a tall guy with blonde hair it seemed. He had lightning blue eyes, with a small scar on his top lip. He had his wooden sword to his left side, hanging from a leather belt.

I poked his back, and waited until he turned.

"Hey, Im Percy, are you new too?" He turned around.

"Uhh yeah, I cant seem to find my way out of this town. By the way, Im Jason." Jason, okay.

"Same here, I cant find my way out. I've been searching for about 30 minutes now." Maybe I was exaggerating, but who cares right?

"You guys are idiots" An unknown voice talked.

"Huh, what do you mean?" I turned around. Behind me was the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. She had dirty blonde hair, and storm gray eyes that would scare the crap out of people.

She seemed to also be in starter gear.

"Who are you?"
