Chapter 10

Percy's POV

"Yo Bianca, are you coming to help out? I feel the floor boss won't be easy to fight at all, so we are going to need all the help we could get" Kirito asked.

Right now, we were all getting ready to head out to the spot where all the people who were in the front-lines were going to meet. From there, after a bit of strategy planning, we would take direction towards the floor boss, or the floor dungeon as some would call it.

"I want to, but Nico doesn't want me putting myself in danger, and he feels as if I should stay here."

"Why don't you put on a cloak and follow us from distance? That way Nico doesn't know you are with us" I said, voicing my idea.

"I guess I could do that, give me a second, let me go get a cloak" Bianca then trotted up the stairs and went into her room, and just as she did, Nico's door opened and he came out, looking almost the same as Kirito, dressed in all black.

"Ready to go?" He asked, and we all nodded our heads as we all stood up from our separate couches.

We left the house and started heading towards the meeting spot.

I could feel Bianca at around 80 feet from us, a far enough distance if you ask me, and I could feel her hiding around the trees, even though it seemed as if Nico wasn't suspicious at all of anything.

"Alright, we're here" Jason told us. "We have about 30 minutes till the meeting begins, what should we do?"

"Maybe we should go to the blacksmith, check our weapons and stuff, I know one close-by" Nico said thoughtfully

"I think I've got everything I need, so I'll stay here and talk strategy before-hand with The Knights Of The Blood Oath" Kirito said.

"Alright then, we'll be back in a bit, 'later" I announced.

Line Break

"Hi welcome to Lizbeth's Blacksmith shop! I'm Liz, what are you searching for today, a sword, armor, or maybe a-"

We were looking at the other 4 people in the shop. They seemed to be pretty stacked with nice armor, so maybe they're from the frontlines too.

"Sup, name's Leo, who're you?" One of them, apparently Leo, said.

"Percy, nice to meet-cha. Are you guys with the front-lines?"

"Sure am, well, from now anyways. We just joined up"

"Same here, this is our first boss fight. Well, second, technically. We were part of the floor 1 boss fight, well, atleast Jason and I were. By the way, this is Jason" I pointed at the blonde dude next to me "And this is Nico" I pointed at the goth lookin' dude at the other side of me.

"Yo"

"...Sup"

"Oh right, these are Frank" he pointed at the big baby asian man (or something like that) "Hazel" Leo pointed at the gal beside Frank, who had cinnamon brown curlys and golden eyes "And Piper" the last girl had brown hair with kaleidoscope eyes, which looked amazing, and dark skin tone.

Jason seemed to stare at her a bit.

We said our hello's and decided that all of us should go together to the dungeon.

And so, we headed out, forgetting to check our equipment.

"Why do they always forget I'm here?! How's that even possible?!" I could hear the blacksmith say as we were leaving the shop.

Line Break

"Hey, who are these?" Kirito asked as we entered the strategy room.

"Oh, right, these are Piper, Hazel, Frank, and Leo-"

"Super-sized McShizzle Bad Boy Supreme at your service"

"-and they are joining the front-lines along with us" I finished.

"That's good. We need as much people as we can get" Kirito smiled at them and motioned us to follow him up to the planning table.

"-so group F will flank as soon as the boss turns towards group B. The Vanguard will be attacking at all times and will try to mantain agro for other groups to attack. Guild that gets the finishing blow will keep the item, and no hard feelings. Everyone got it?"

Everyone on the enclosed room nodded or replied with a faint 'yes' or 'yeah'.

Annabeth had come up with the plan for the boss fight, and it seemed to be a good one, since no one has backed out of the room like some other times when a different guild planned it.

"Oh hey guys, glad to see you came, too" Asuna came up to us, along with Annabeth.

"Yeah, glad we could make it. By the way, what group will we be on?" Jason asked.

Annabeth seemed to think for a moment, until Asuna recommended something.

"How about they be on the Vanguard, while... um, what's your name again?"

"Bad Boys Supreme is our guild name, if thats what you're asking."

I turned to look at Piper, and she looked embarassed.

"Yeah, Leo won the bet we had to name our guild." Frank said with shame.

"...Right. So, the... Bad Boys Supreme can be in the support team for now, until we know how much you can handle" Asuna turned to look at Annabeth, who nodded in agreement.

"Fine by us" Piper stated.

"Alright then, let's get going" Kirito said as he started heading for the door.

Line Break

I had informed Bianca about everything in the meeting and that she would have to be in the support team so Nico doesn't see her.

She had been having lunch in a restaurant nearby, and I told Nico I was going to get some healing potions before we left.

He believed it, suprisingly, since I wasn't very good at lying, and we had bought potions the day before. Either way, I went to meet Bianca.

"Alright then, I guess I'll keep a lookout and help those who need support. Easy enough."

"Yup" I replied.

"Well then, get going before they start thinking you backed away from the fight. I'll be right behind you. At some distance, of course."

And so I caught up to the rest, who were having a casual small talk about how their lives were before SLO.

I mean, I had it pretty good all my life, since my dad was rich and all, but I never did enjoy the friendships I had before as I do now. From a learning point of view, this game has benefitted me a lot in terms of social interaction and caring about others.

Of course, it has also killed a lot of players who just wanted to have fun and enjoy a good time. And that's what sad about it.

"We're almost there, be ready once we enter the dungeon." I could hear Annabeth shout from the front of the group, adressing everyone who was going to join the fight.

"And remember, we do this for the people who are stuck here with us, unable to get out and enjoy time with their family. So, give it your all, and don't give up!"
