Chapter 8

☠️Nico's POV☠️

I strolled towards the blacksmith, hoping this one was better than my personal one, but at the same time I feel like the sword I have right now is good enough and I don't need another better one from another blacksmith I don't know.

"Hello! Welcome to Liz's blacksmith shop! Im Liz, would you like to order a specific type of sword or would you like to check the ones I've made which are right here" She pointed behind her at the sword stands "If you were to order a specific sword, it would take me a couple of days to finish, depending on the type of sword that is but if- hey?! Are you actually listening to me?!"

I was not listening to her or even paying attention to her, I was looking straight at the other person in the room, who happened to be looking at me too.

"I f-finally fo-found you. Oh my god I thought I would never see you again! I missed you so much!"

"Bi-Bianca?!"

🔱Percy's POV🔱

"So uh, Jason, how did you come by that? I thought it was only a rumor!" I asked. Jason had just came back holding a unique and probably legendary item.

Ivlivs

Ivlivs was a golden coin that when flipped, it could turn into an almost unbreakable sword or an almost unbreakable lance, depending on the side the coin lands on.

"Im soo going to rub it in Nico's face when he gets back!" Jason said with a mischievous smile.

"Hey guys! Im back! Brought someone special with me!" We heard Nico yell from downstairs as the front door could be heard closing.

Jason gave me a nudge, signaling he wanted me to follow him, meaning he is actually thinking about rubbing Ivlivs in Nico's face.

We rushed downstairs, and as soon as we got there, Jason sprinted off in Nico's direction.

"Hey Nico look at this!" He flipped the coin and just as it was about to land on his hand, a hand grabbed it in the air.

"Wow! You have Ivlivs! I thought it didn't exist! Where'd you find it?" The girl who was beside Nico asked. She was inspecting the coin, looking at every single detail she could see.

She looked fairly similar to Nico, dark eyes and dark hair. She had a bow behind her back, with a quiver next to it.

"Uhh Nico? Who is she?" We heard a voice behind us.

I turned around to see Kirito, looking as if he just woke up even if its 3 in the afternoon. Man that guy sleeps like a Snorlax.

"This is my older sister, Bianca"

"Hey!" Bianca smiled, ignoring Jason and I and looking straight at Kirito.

Kirito smiled back and blushed when Bianca winked at him.

"Um, Bianca? Can you stop flirting with my friends please?" Nico asked pleadingly.

"I was just messing around lil' bro, don't take it seriously" She answered back, but just as Nico sighed in relief, she sent another wink at Kirito, who looked as red as a firetruck.

"Im uh, going to my room, tell me if you uh guys need anything" Kirito slurred out. He excused himself and left the four of them.

"You just had to scare him off didn't you?" Nico asked

"You know I was playing, and anyways, what are your names?" She pointed at Jason and I

"Jason"

"Percy"

"Nico"

"Bianca"

"Why did you two say your names?" I asked, looking at them questionably.

"Cause its fun to see the confusion in people's faces" Bianca responded, and Nico nodded next to her.

"Alllrighttt" Jason said with a confused look in his eyes.

"Anyways, so how did you get Ivlivs Jason?" Nico asked after Bianca gave back the coin to Jason.

"Uhhhh, a lightning bolt struck in front of me and the coin dropped in the floor. I picked it up and on the way here, I flipped it for no reason and it transformed into a sword"

We were all shocked to say the least.

You would expect he would of found it by beating a Legendary boss or maybe doing a Legendary quest. But no. It fell out of the dam sky. That is so-

"Disappointing" Nico voiced my thoughts.

Jason had a nervous look on his face with a smile to go with it.

"Yeah, well, can we not tell everyone that it fell from the sky? Lets just tell them (If they ask) that I got it from an Out-of-the-Quest-Book quest that was incredibly hard and I almost died getting it? Please?" Jason looked at us with a pleading face. We all started to laugh instantaneously while Jason looked red as a tomato.

After the laughter died down, we all told him we wont tell anyone how it dropped from the sky if he was our slave for a week. He hesitated at first but then reluctantly accepted.

🔥???? POV🔥

I ran as fast as I could, hoping to avoid the monsters surrounding me.

I was out of breath, but I had to keep going. If I didn't I would die right here and be done with it.

Maybe it is better if I die now I thought. Nobody is waiting for me. I started slowing my pace, ready to give in.

This was it for me, nobody is going to have to deal with me anymore, and I was finally going to be free from this nightmare of a world.

Don't! Its not worth it!

Who was that?

Was that a voice in my head?

Or was it from outside?

I don't know what to do.

Images start appearing in my head. Images of my guild, of my friends. Piper, Hazel, Frank. My buddies. I couldn't leave them!

I regain my composure and start running out again with renewed strength.

I couldn't leave them to bear with what was about to be my death. I just couldn't.

I do it for you, my friends.

And so thats how this chapter ends. I know it probably isn't long enough to fill in how much time I haven't updated, but I promise to try to update more and make you guys happy.
