Sword Life Online (Percy Jackson and SAO)

Chapter 5

We all appeared in the town of beginnings, which was kinda weird and spooky. Maybe its the first server event? Who knows.

As I thought about that, Percy and Kirito appeared next to me, along with Klein following them.

"What do you think is going on?" Percy asked

"Maybe its a server event?" Kirito responded "Or maybe its just an introduction to the game?"

"I thought it was a server event too" I commented. This could be whats happening, but for now, we couldn't know since nothing happened.

And right as I said that, red cloth that looked like blood started to appear out of the enclosed top of the dome.

This is weird.

Murmurs were heard all around the crowded dome, no one knew what was going on.

Suddenly, a voice came from the figure made out of the blood cloth.

"Welcome everyone, to Sword Life Online! The first VRMMORPG ever created!"

Cheers were heard all around the dome, cheers from the 10,000 people playing the game. This was truly amazing.

"Yes yes I know you are all happy, but I don't know if you should be" The voice said. Why does he think we shouldn't be happy?

"If some of you realize, you don't have a 'Exit Game' button in your settings, and thats because you cant actually leave the game" What? What type of stupidity is that? We cant leave the game? Thats outrageous!

"If someone outside the virtual reality world was to disconnect you from the headset, it will trigger a sensor and kill you with an electric shock just before. Also, if you were to die in-game, you also die in real life. The only way to escape is reaching the last floor and killing the floor 100 boss"

Everyone was in shock. They couldn't believe this. I couldn't believe this. We are doomed.

"Have a nice evening everyone, and- Oh! I forgot! I put a special mirror in your inventory, if you would please take it out"

As everyone took out their mirror, particles started to form around them, and I assume I also got particles around me.

As the particles disappeared, everyone started gasping.

We all looked as we do in real life.

Percy looked about the same, just he became a little bit more marked in the muscles, which is weird considering it should be the other way around, making your character buff even though you are not.

Kirito looked as if he was the same as his character, but younger; he looked about 16 or so.

Klein looked the same apart from having brown, spiked hair.

I looked also about the same and the only change I noticed back is my cut in the lower left hand lip. Pretty much it, apart from moles and other minor details.

We all stared at each-other, then Kirito proceded to walk in a certain direction, toward the market.

"Follow me guys!" Kirito told us.

"I'll stay here and find my friends" Klein said.

"Alright, see you later I guess. Don't die!"

Percy and I proceded to follow Kirito, who was running at a reasonable pace towards the second town, where we would farm for supplies before the rest of the people come.

This is going to be a challenge.
