Chapter 5

Jordan's POV

I wake up at 6am on the balcony's couch.

It's still dawn. My mother is probably at work.

I check my phone and it's Saturday. Great no school. I go downstairs to make myself breakfast. I check the cabinet for pancake ingredients. I find everything I needed to make regular pancakes. I play the rest of the Hamilton album on the bluetooth speakers.
I hear a lyric of a song that is not true and I yell

"INACCURATE!" and keep on dancing

I decide to add a little more to my pancakes like strawberries, whipped cream, and powder sugar.

I twirl in a circle and add the final touch of the powdered sugar.

I pause the music and turn on the TV to watch the morning news.

According to the weather forecast, today is supposed to be a sunny day. Well of course it is, I'm in Los Angles.

Maybe I can go downtown or something or just go out for a walk.

I receive a text from Nathan:

Nathan: Hey do you wanna maybe do something today?

Me: Yeah sure, where to?

Nathan: We both kinda live close to a beach...wanna go there

I freeze. He has some muscle and I don't. I lift my shirt and see a flat plain chest and noodle arms.

Me: I don't know. I don't really have a muscular body...

Nathan: Who cares what people think. Let's just have a good time at the beach. I promise I won't make fun of you :)

Me: Haha well I guess I'll go then.

Nathan: So we leave at 12pm?

Me: Yes.

I text my mother to let her know I'll be with Nathan. She texts me back and lets me know that she's okay with the plan.

I wear black swimming trunks and a red shirt. I put on sunscreen before leaving the house.

*TIME SKIP TO THE BEACH*

Nathan and I arrive at the beach. The water is blue and sky is blue Nathan's is standing there shirtless and admiring the view.

It all looks so beautiful

and so does the sky and ocean.

He has abs...holy, forgive God fore I have sinned.

"So Should we get in or what?" Nathan says smiling showing his teeth.

"Yeah sure."

I take off my shirt and Nathan stares

"No! Look away!" I say covering my nipples

"Hey come on don't be shy! I have nipples too you know." He says jokingly.

I remove my hands from my chest and enter the water.

We swim and talk for an hour or so and we get out and just walk on the sand.

"So do you have any crushes on some girl or something? I heard that Emma girl is a really freak you know" Nathan says.

"I do have a crush but it's not on Emma. I don't think I'm good enough for that person. I don't have a chance with hi-them"

"WHAT?? OF COURSE YOURE GOOD ENOUGH FOR THAT PERSON! YOURE THE SMARTEST AND MOST HANDSOMEST IN THAT SCHOOL AND YOU KNOW THAT JORDAN HAMILTON!"

"Wow. Hearing you scream at me made me motivated to ask them out maybe"

Nathan's POV

Jordan's POV

After we're done with the beach we get some ice cream. Nathan offers to pay but I brought some money with me. After that Nathan walks me home.

"Hey um your birthday is coming in a few months, what do you want?" Nathan asks looking desperate.

"Yeah it is. Well I'm fine with whatever you give me. I'm not that picky" that's a lie

"Well sure, see you on Monday"

"Bye"

"Bye..thanks for walking me home"

"Anytime"

Everything seems to be going fine in Jordan's life...hmm
