Maya:
I woke up early immediately heading to take a shower as my roommate slowly woke up. Today our minors were getting picked and of course storm had to go first. I washed my curly hair and slowly awakened as I turned off the hot water.
I quickly got dressed and slid the familiar black and purple ring on my finger, it was a goodbye gift from my family the day I left. I closed my eyes and thought of my parents, I owe everything to them. They never blinked at the thought of taking me in.
I heard my roommate shyly knock as I snapped out of my thoughts.
Oh right, school.
I opened the door flashing her a apologetic smile as I grabbed my books throwing my shoes on as I hurried to the simulation room. I relaxed as I saw many people in the same condition as me rushing over here. I sighed and leaned against the wall as a boy leaned against the wall next to me fiddling with his lip piercing.
"Hey" I said and they turned to look at me.
"Hi, I'm Tempest. I'm guessing you're here for the minor simulation?" They said and pulled up his knee highs as a couple of guys walked up to us.
"So what are you? You don't look like a storm major so why don't you just run off." They said snickering as Tempest's cheeks flooded with redness.
"I belong here just as much as you" He said his voice shaking with a quiet anger.
My eyebrow raised as my eyes narrowed at the three douchebags in front of me. I felt my left eye twitch in annoyance as I blocked Tempest with my body.
"Who do you think you are? That was extremely ignorant and if you said that to anyone else you would have gotten knocked out!" I snapped my whole body heating up as I yelled at them.
The surrounding people stared as I stepped closer to them, glaring fiercely as I talked.
"That was extremely disrespectful, anyone that was admitted to this school deserves to be here. We all had to go to the same things to get here so you shouldn't be talking. Maybe you're not a storm major because storm mages are known for unity and maturity." I finished and they backed away apologizing.
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath to calm myself.
"Ignorant ingrate hooligans" I whispered under my breath as I returned to Tempest cooling down.
"That was pretty cool, I think they pissed their pants" He said laughing and I glanced over smiling.
"Yeah, I don't like rude people." I said with a quiet laugh of my own as another person exited the room and it was my turn.
"Maya Ramiel please enter the simulation room" My teacher said pushing her purple hair behind her shoulders.
