"Welcome home father!" Muhammad said shaking his father's hand in respect.
He went to the airport to get his father. It was the last day of ramadan In shaa Allah. His relationship with his wife was improving. He has learnt to overlook all her flaws and appreciate the good side of her. He just didn't know why she doesn't go to visit her mother anymore.
"Thank you my son" his father replied him
"You didn't come with your siblings?" He asked as they got to the car.
"I wanted to come with them but something came up at work and I had to go there after I was done there wasn't enough time to pick them up"
He explained"Ohh okay. I hope you have all been good? I hope everything is being taken care of this ramadan since your mother isn't around"
"Yes I spend most of my time at home with them." Muhammad said.
"Glad to hear that"
They continued talking about random things before they got home.
Aisha was already waiting outside for her father.
She didn't wait for him to get out of the car before she gave him a big hug not wanting to let go."Welcome daddy" she said
"Thank you my dear. Can You let me go now? My bones are not that strong anymore"he said laughing.
She did as he said after telling him she missed him so much.
"Better grow up Aisha. We are planning on sending you away very soon" Muhammad said.
"Daddy tell him I am not going anywhere." She said
"Toh let me tell him. Muhammad your sister said she isn't going anywhere"
He said mimicking the way she said it.
They all burst out laughing before Amir came out walking slowly like he had no energy in him with Imam following behind him. He ran to his father and daddy carried him up in his arms."Why is wrong with that one?" Daddy asked Aisha
"Ohh he is fasting today." They all laughed at him laughing knowing how lazy he was when it comes to fasting. He finally got where his father was before he greeted him and asked him how his trip went.
"Rago kawai!" Aisha said
He just hissed and didn't reply her because he didn't have the energy to quarrel with his sister.
"Where is Amira?" Daddy asked
"Ohh she went to get her hair braided for Eid"
They all went in following their father to his room. They all stayed there before the time for iftaar. Daddy and Ibrahim went to the masjid for maghrib before they came back and had iftaar
"Daddy they haven't sighted the moon?" Amira asked stuffing potatoes in her mouth
"Not yet maybe later in the night." He replied her.
Muhammad got up after they finished and left. He stopped at a mosque on his way and prayed isha before he proceeded home.
He got home and found hafsat busy in the kitchen. Something she did very often recently.
She was alone in the kitchen busy with Her cookery book flipping pages before she turned to the pot on the gas cooker.
Muhammad tip toed and stood behind her. she didn't notice him she just kept flipping pages and hissing. She turned around before she bumped into him.
"Innalillahi! She shouted " before she realized it was Muhammad.
She heaved before talking "you almost gave me a heart attack" she said.
