"Good morning angel"

I said as I walked into the kitchen while Maryam was busy preparing breakfast.

"Good morning habeeby!. What happened you slept off after subh prayers?" Maryam asked

"Oh yeah Na koma bacci because I needed enough rest before the journey"

"Ahh okay. Shower first before I finish the breakfast"

"Let me see Hafsat first"

I went to Hafsat's side and straight to her room where I found her still in bed. I gently closed the door before I heard her speak

"a ummi jam(good morning )"

"Mi tammi ado dana ai(I thought you were asleep)"

"No I have been up all night. I couldn't sleep well." She answered

"What is wrong?"

"Have been feeling nauseous and feverish I don't know why" she replied

"Let me just shower then we go to the hospital right away before I leave"

"No please don't worry. I will go later in the day myself. Or I can go with Maryam don't worry"

"No we are leaving around 11 the wedding fatiha is after zuhr we can make it"

"I am not going with you. I am going with Maryam. Just go and get ready. Don't keep daddy waiting. I know he will start calling you any moment from now." She said

"Okay then. I will be back when I am done before I leave. I will tell Atika to come get breakfast for you from Maryam on my way out. Take care"

with that I went back and told Maryam what we talked about with Hafsat about going to the hospital

"She said she will go with you and that I shouldnt worry. Please dont forget and knowing Hafsat well she might tell you she feels better just keep insisting until she finally agrees to go with you. Okay?"

"In shaa Allah Zawji. I will do just that."

"May Allah bless you."

After I showered Maryam came in and called me out for breakfast. After that I got ready, reminded Maryam about going to the hospital with Hafsat then we both went to Hafsat's side.

"Adda Hafsat how are you feeling?" Maryam asked her

"Feeling better now" she replied her

"I am leaving now Hafsat. Take care and dont Forget I have told Maryam about the hospital."

"In shaa Allah we will go dont worry. Right Adda hafsat?" Maryam said directing her question at Hafsat.

"Yes we will." Hafsat replied weakly

"See? Dont worry. Before you arrive at kaduna we would have already gone to the hospital I promise you" Maryam said smiling at me.

"Bari in barku kuyi sallama(let me leave you two say your byes)" maryam added before she left the room.

"You take care of yourself okay? Do you need anything else?" I asked her as I sat on the bed near her
