"Aisha come home right now" Adda zee said ending the call. Aisha who went to her friend's place felt uneasy.

      "What is wrong Aisha?"
Haleema asked her. Aisha shook her head indicating she doesn't know what was going on.
    "Her voice sounded like she was crying" Aisha said as she got to the car.

"Everything is fine Aisha. Keep praying"
Haleema replied her.

She headed home with her heart beating faster than usual. She felt like the whole world has stopped immediately after she got her sister's call. She reached home and saw few cars parked outside.

She moved slowly into the house. The few people in the house were all looking at her with sad eyes.

She opened her mother's room gently and saw Adda zee who was standing on the praying mat like she was praying . The only difference was her body was shaking even though Aisha could only see her face she knew she was crying. Aisha stood there for what seems like forever but Adda zee was still standing she didnt make ruk'u or sujuud.

Aisha finally decided to speak up.

"Adda zainab!" Aisha said softly.
When she got no response she called her name again.

"Adda zainab jam na?( is everything okay?) immediately Adda zee turned around and aisha saw how puffy and red her eyes were. Tears were rolling down her cheeks uncontrollably. She didn't know what to say she just kept crying.

"Where is mummy?" She asked her sister when she didn't reply her question earlier . She still didnt say any she just kept crying. Aisha heard someone come into the room she turned and saw her father's sister who was also staying in kano.

"Aisha you are back." Her aunty said trying to make a convo after she sat on the bed

"Goggo Malika what is going on?" Aisha asked her aunty.

Her aunty motioned for her to come sit near her. Aisha turned to look at adda zee who was still crying not caring about the things happening around her.

"Can someone please tell me what is happening? Where is my mother?Is daddy back from kaduna? Is it Hamma Muhammad? Or is it Daddy? Who died? Is something wrong with mummy? I didnt see her when coming in and she is not in her room. "

"Calm down Aisha come sit near me" her aunty said

Aisha walked over to her aunt  reluctantly and she sat near her.

"Aisha you see in this world everything that has life must part with it someday. Allah said kullu nafsin za'iqatul maut. We will all die someday. Aisha I want you to be patient with what I am going to tell you right now. Promise me you will be patient"

"Okay." aisha simply replied her

"Aisha we have lost Hamma Umar almost two hours ago. They were involved in an accident few minutes away from kano. Muhammad is said to be in coma but Hamma is gone Aisha. You can only pray for him" her aunty  said

"Okay" aisha said not knowing what she was feeling

"Aisha please be patient"  her aunty said again.

"Your mother is at the hospital with my husband, aunty jamilah is also there and Bappa Ahmadu. I just came back from the hospital now." She added.

When Aisha didnt say anything she talked again

"Aisha and zainab I want you both to be strong for your mother. You have no idea what she is going through right now. Whatever you two are going through is nothing compared to hers. Remember she lost her husband and her son's life is also on the line. Okay?"
