Chapter 19

The next day I woke up feeling like me again. I got dressed and started my walk to the studio.

"hey, Laura. Are you feeling any better?," Raini asked and walked over to me. I nodded and smiled.
"hey... is that Courtney? What's she doing here?," I asked Raini. Raini rolled her eyes.
"ever since she heard you and Ross were doing a TV show together she's been trying to get back together with him," she explained and I scoffed.
"wow," was all I managed to say.
"hey, look over there," Calum said pointing over there.
"but Rossy!," Courtney whined and grabbed Ross' hand.
"go away, Courtney," Ross said and managed to retrieve his hand back.
"but I love you!," she said and hugged him. I couldn't help but laugh.

Ross noticed and glared at me.
"looks like I have to go save him," I said and walked over to Ross.
"hey, Ross," I said and smiled.
"hey, Laur," he said and smiled back.
"we're going to be late... for shooting," I lied. He seemed to catch on.
"oh, right. See ya, Courtney," Ross said and managed to squeeze his way out of her grip and slip his hand in mine. I turned around and waved at Courtney who just crossed her arms and scoffed.

I couldn't help but laugh.

"BUT, ROSSY, I LOVE YOU!," Raini and I exclaimed as we sat on the floor in my dressing room with Ross and Calum.
"shut up," he said and playfully punched my shoulder.
"so... are you actually going to get back together with her?," I asked in a serious tone.
"nah... I like someone else," he said.
"oooooooohhhhhhhh," Raini gushed and I couldn't help but laugh again.
"is she in this room?," Raini asked.
"I'm not telling you that," Ross responded.
"Raini leave the poor guy alone," I said.
"poor?," Ross said and put a hand to his chest.
"for your information Mrs. Marano, I make millions a year," Ross said.
"yeah, ok," I said not knowing how to respond.
