~~~~~~~~MUST READ TO UNDERSTAND:
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Okay so we are going back into time to the very end of the first movie + the second movie as seen through the eyes of Gwiliweth, Merry, and Pippin.
I did this for readers who have not seen the Lord of the Rings to really capture the amazingness of the story. Cuz well... LORD OF THE RINGS IS THE BOMB DIGGITY!!!!
Also I did this as an important insight into Gwiliweth as a character.
I deeply apologize how small the chapter is.... but do enjoy! <3
~Chapter Eleven~
Captured by the Horde
Sapphire eyes met with silver, "Gwiliweth will you stay here?"
Gwiliweth smiled with a nod. "Of course!"
The red head watches as Medlinya, Legolas, and Gimli race into the forest of Emyn Muil leaving her behind with Sam, Pippin, and Merry. Gwiliweth felt the threat of something dangerous coming from the direction where the three had vanished. Her silver eyes glanced around to the hobbits beside her, "Let's go try to find Frodo."
Merry watched the red head warily, "But Lady Medlinya said to stay here!" he snapped.
Gwiliweth locked eyes with bold blue eyes of the hobbit, "I am aware of that, but standing here will not help Frodo when the horde of Uruk are after him." With that being said, the silver eyed Elf sprinted into the forest with three hobbits running after her.
Crunch.
Crackle.
Crunch.
The dried leaves on the forest floor harmoniously crackled under the four pairs of feet sprinting through the wood searching for Frodo.
"Mr. Baggins?!"
"Frodo?!"
"Where are you, Frodo!?"
The three hobbits called for the missing hobbit. Gwiliweth pivoted around the hobbits frantically, waving her arms around for the three to stop. "You must be quiet. The Uruk-hai may hear you. We must search for him as quietly as we can." Pippin and Merry nodded understanding without question. Gwiliweth knew Sam and had a notion that the orders did not soothe well with his loyalty towards Frodo. Nonetheless, Sam obeyed the she-elf and they quietly set out again.
The pace that Gwiliweth had made was too fast for the hobbits. Without the red-head noticing, Pippin and Merry hid themselves in a hollow of a tree, as they began hearing the grunts and yelling of a distant Uruk army.
Gwiliweth was out of sight and so was Sam, though no one knew where the loyal friend of Frodo had disappeared. The two best friends huddled together in the safety of their sanctuary. After a few minutes of silence, Frodo appeared feverishly sprinting downhill toward the hiding hobbits then stumbles to the ground. Crawling behind a tree the sounds of Uruk grew louder and louder as the monsters crash through the forest after any living thing.
"Frodo!" Merry whispered over to the exposed hobbit.
Frodo catches sight of the two hobbits watching him in the hollow, a few feet away. "Hide here, quick!" Merry urged as he motioned his hand towards the refuge of the hollow.
"Come on!" Pippin added. Frodo stares at his friends, than slowly shakes his head as his eyes showed great sadness. Pippin confusedly turns to Merry, "What's he doing?"
