After a terrible naval battle where he saw his friends dying, superhuman efforts in a dark and frozen water, Mathias was able to reach a rocky island lost in the middle of the ocean. The young man was pushed by waves and clings to the rocks to prevent the sea to swallow him again. Mathias is out of strength and spits sea water that he swallowed. His vision is cloudy and his shoulder injury makes him suffer. Although exhausted, Mathias looks up and looks to the top of the island, where is the source of the mysterious light. A lighthouse! He had guessed right. But what does a lighthouse lost in the middle of the ocean? Whatever. Mathias begins to climb the rocks with his last strength and does everything to withstand pain. After a few minutes of endless climbing on rocks slippery because of the endless rain, Mathias reached marble steps leading to the entrance of the lighthouse. Mathias has no longer strength and remains lying on the marble, staring at the sky and trying to catch his breath. His vision became cloudy again. Suddenly, he saw two unknown figures lean towards him. They have coats and hats sailors. Their faces are hidden by the night, but Mathias guesses a man and a woman. He does not know who they are, but he does not even have the strength to move. They observe him for a few seconds in silence, then the man turned to the woman and begins to speak, with a calm and strange tone.

(Robert Lutece): "Well, well, my dear, we have company."

(Rosalind Lutece): "But he seems in bad shape after such physical effort."

(Robert Lutece): "Of course. This young man has a great survival instincts. He has the strength and courage as we have seen."

(Rosalind Lutece): "I think he is the one we expect. He will be ideal."

(Robert Lutece): "I think too. But only the future will tell us. Past. Present. Future. Nothing is ever certain."

(Rosalind Lutece): "Absolutely. But everyone can make to change the future and make it better...Or worse."

(Robert Lutece): "It depends to the point of view of each."

(Rosalind Lutece): "Indeed."

The male figure takes a piece of paper in his pocket and puts it in the hands of Mathias, without this one reacts.

(Robert Lutece): "For each input, an output, even in the most impossible places. Just know where looking, not only with eyes, but with your mind."

Mathias was able to listen, but he does not understand what they say. He closes his eyes a few moments, and when he open them again, the two figures disappeared. Mathias rises up hardly and looks around. Person. The young man is scratching the back of his head by taking up his spirits. Is he dreaming? Was it a hallucination caused by stress endured? Then he looks up and sees the piece of paper in his hand. There are three symbols drawn: a scroll, a key and a sword. Mathias doesn't know what that means, but for some reason, he keeps the paper and puts it in his pocket. But then .... It was not a hallucination or a dream? No way to tell. Mathias has no explanation for this, but whatever. Now that he has regained some strength to walk, he climbed the steps to the entrance of the lighthouse, hoping to find someone inside. While walking, he looks around to try to see the two strange figures he saw, but the island is deserted, surrounded by agitated and threatening ocean. Mathias leans against the door to catch his breath a little and hits weakly.

(Mathias): "Hey, Help me please! There's someone?"

No answer. Mathias turns the handle and saw that the door is not locked. Strange. The young soldier knows it's not legal, but he decided to enter to take a look. The atmosphere inside the lighthouse is strange. All is silent and the only light is that of a candle sitting on a dusty old office. Opposite the entrance, Mathias sees a freshwater basin resting on a small table, with a sign hanging above the pillar. Mathias approaches to read what there is on it.
