Chapter Thirteen

  ~Sam's P.O.V~
  A Month Later:
  After getting married a month ago Andy went on tour. I stayed home with Kaiyō and took care of her. I got a job and hired that same babysitter to watch over her. Not a lot happened, it was rare for Andy to call or text just to check up on us which kinda freaked me out.
  He'll be back in two more days, I can't wait. His mom and I got really close since she knew I couldn't take care of Kaiyō myself. It was weird at first. Now, I'm comfortable with her. I also started doing more interviews and writing more songs, I'm hoping I could make it big.
  Being supported by this idea really made me confident, because I knew there's people there to help me out and back me up. "Sam?" Amy taps my shoulder "You okay?"
  "Never been better." I give her the brightest smile I got.
  "You seem so anxious." I bit my lip
  "I'm worried about Andy, he hasn't texted or called in almost two weeks." I sighed "But, he is on tour so I can't expect him to talk to me every day." Amy shakes her head
  "You call him right now, it's not okay to be ignored."
  "But Amy I-"
  "No buts, now call him." She hands me my phone "I'll be upstairs with Kaiyō." I find Andy's number in the list of my contacts, gosh I really don't want to. What if he was asleep and he got pissed at me? I hope not.
  I put the phone up to my ear and it answered in just three rings. "Sam!" CC answered
  "Hey." I laugh
  "Andy isn't here at the moment." He half slurred
  "Cc are you drunk?"
  "No, are you drunk?" I roll my eyes
  "No, do you know where Andy is?" He stayed quiet for a moment "CC-" I heard a door shut
  "I'm not supposed to tell but,"
  "But what?"
  "Andy is hanging out with Juliet." My chest started to hurt.
  "Oh."
  "Sam don't-" I hung up in tears. Two pairs of arms wrapped around me
  "Don't cry." Amy cooed into my ear "Its okay."
  "Can I go out for a drink?" She nodded
  "Go." I grab my purse and keys then head out. I drove off to the nearest bar. I felt broken, he's with Juliet. He can't be cheating on me, he has a daughter.
  I park into a parking lot and walk into the bar with mascara tears, I sit down near the bar table."oh dear, you look awful. Bad day huh?" The bartender asked
  "Yeah, very bad day." Good thing, I'm not breastfeeding Kaiyō anymore.
  "What can I get you?"
  "Four shots of whiskey." He hands me four shot glasses and pours whiskey in all of them. "Thanks." I hand him the money. I chug down one and scrunch up my face. It was so strong but I didn't care, I took the rest down fast and asked for more. Now what would Andy say about this? Don't matter, he's not here. 
  "Hello there." A tall man sat down next to me and grinned "How are you beautiful?" I show him my wedding ring "Oh sorry." I shake my head and take it off.
  "I don't care." I was a drunken wreck, I had no clue what I was doing. Well I did but I couldn't control it. I needed to stop, I can't. "Worst day ever."
  "I can make you feel better honey." No, this can't happen. I took control over my body once again.
  "No it's okay." His hand rests on my right thigh, I flinched
  "Come on baby, don't be like that."
  "No stop." I push his hand away "Don't." He pins me to the bar. "Stop." He kissed my neck "Get off me!" I shouted, two big hands pulled him away.
  "My woman said get off."
  "Sorry man I didn't know." Oh he did know.
  "You d-id know." I slurred out slowly
  "Lets go." I recognized it was Andy, how could he possible get here so fast?
  He helped me out to my car and put me in the passenger seat. "What the fuck do you think you're doing?" He asked angrily
  "What do you mean?" I give him a drunk smile "I'm just drinking away the pain."
  "From what?" I said nothing and looked out the window. "I knew I should've never left you alone, what's wrong Sam?" I bit my lip to hold back tears
  "Nothing." My voice cracked "I don't wanna talk about it." I crossed my arms "I'm just tired and drunk."
  "Sam, it's only 6 o'clock." Shit. "Tell me the truth."
  "Okay fine then." I sat up and glared at him "What did you do with Juliet on tour?" His face went pale
  "How did you know about that?"
  "Some loyal friend we both know, CC." He growled lowly
  "Damnit." I looked back out the window
  "I just wannna go home, you can go with that girl all you want but you can't leave Kaiyō."
  ~Andy's P.O.V~
  I knew CC might say something, damn. Now Sam thinks I'm cheating on her, wonderful. How am I gonna make it all up to her? She's so stubborn, I love her but she can be a hard head. I know I just broke her right now because I could hear her sniffling. Did she cut?  "Sam let me see your arms?"
  "No." that's not good. I grab one of her limp arms and roll up the sleeves, she had some cuts. Even on the other one, why?
  "Why do you have these?" She jerks her arms away from me.
  "Because I do."
  "Truth now."
  "WHY DO YOU ACT LIKE YOU CARE?!" I flinch a little at her voice. Man, alcohol can show her true colors. Now I know how pissed she gets when I force her to know the truth.
  "I've been caring Sam, what's up with you?"
  "You haven't told me about Juliet!" I stopped at a street light and stared at her frustrated. "I know you've been hiding things from me, I've been checking your phone and the phone bill. I see her number on there a few times."
  ~Sam's P.O.V~
  I couldn't do it anymore, I can't live like this. I grabbed a bottle of sleeping pills, I ripped off the label so Andy wouldn't find out. I held on to the bottle. "I'll go get some food, we can talk after. Don't do anything insane." I quickly go inside with my stuff and run inside our house. I locked the bathroom door behind me once I got in. I cried on the floor until the color on my cheeks were stained with more mascara tears. I grabbed my switch blade.
Both of them don't deserve me, I'm no good. I cut more on my arms, I bled so much but I didn't care. There was one cut that didn't stop bleeding, whatever. I opened the pill bottle and swallowed all of the pills. I sat in the tub, everything was so blurry. I felt so dizzy. I couldn't.
I picked up my phone and called Andy. "What is it?" He answered calmly
"Andy..." I sobbed into the phone "I'm sorry." I hung up after and stared up at the ceiling.
I lost everything, I left everyone. How foolish of me. It was a good idea, they didn't need me. The room was a spinning and dizzy mess. The last thing I saw once my whole body shut down was Andy running in the bathroom screaming my name.
~Andy's P.O.V~
"SAM!!!" Sam was out already, she took the pills and I know that. I shoved two fingers down her throat, she sat up and threw up some of them. That's so not good.
"Stop it." She cried into my shoulder "Go away, live your life." No I can't give up on her that easily.
"You idiot, I need you." I pick her up and take her back into the car. I raced to the hospital nearby our neighborhood.
Once I got there, I turned off the car and carried Sam then locked the car. I ran to the emergency room, holding back my tears. "Sam stay strong baby." I run inside with a bunch of eyes on me "Somebody help me!" I shout, nurses come flooding in and set Sam down on a hospital bed. I followed them inside but one of the nurses stopped me.
"Stay here sir." I sat on the floor crying. I took my phone out my pocket and called CC. I called the rest of the guys after, then my parents.
  ~Sam's P.O.V~
  A Week Later:
  I'm not dead, I can tell. I could hear Andy taking to the guys. There I was, laying on the hospital bed. Everyone had no clue I was right beside them, I was deciding to live or die. "I hope she's okay." Andy said, he had bags under his eyes and he looked like a big mess. Andy rarely ever got any sleep so Amy took Kaiyō to get our daughter off his back.
  "Dude you should get some sleep." CC pats his back "We'll come back tomorrow morning." Andy nodded. The guys went outside with Andy except for Ashley. Ashley put his lips close to my ear held my hand.
  "You have to come back, for Andy and for your daughter." He sat up normally but still held my hand. "Suicide is selfish Sam, you have people here that love you and including me. You gotta come back, the guys, Andy's parents, your daughter, Andy, and I love you. Your like my little sister honey, it would break my heart to see you die here. Think about us before leaving this world and into another life." Hearing him say that made me cry, I started to feel uneasy.
  "Ngh!" I crouched down on the ground holding my stomach in pain and screamed.
  I gasped and sat up fast surprising Ashley. "Oh my god... ANDY!!!!" He ran for Andy, Andy came in fast. I tried to catch my breath, I coughed and choked. I felt this burning sensation on my lungs and throat, I gagged.
  "Kitty!" Andy gave me a tub before I felt some liquid rise out of my throat. It smelled awful, I saw the rest of the pills. "Oh baby..." Andy cried weakly on my shoulder and kissed my bare back. "Please be okay." I layed back down on the bed while the nurse took the tub away.
  "A-Andy..." I pointed to the bottle of water, my throat burned. I chugged down half of he bottle and stared deep into Andy's tired blue eyes. "Get s-some s-sleep." He pulled up a chair and sat down beside me.
  "I'm fine." I held his hand and played with his hair with the other.

  I stopped after hearing his quiet snores. My baby, he's been torturing himself because of me. "I love you." I whispered in his ear then kissed his temple. I didn't let his hand go, I held on while still playing with his hair. I heard a little sob come out his mouth. "No baby, don't cry. Come here and lay down." I crossed my legs and rested his head in my lap with the pillow under his head. "Go to sleep." I ran my fingers through his hair then stroked his arms softly.
  "Sam..." he muttered in his sleep, I kissed his forehead.
  "Shhh..." I caressed his cheek softly.
  "Yo-"
  "Shush." I told CC
  "Sorry." He lowered his voice
  "You got him to sleep." Jake said satisfied "Good."
  "Mama Jinxx?"
  "Hm?" I looked up from his phone
  "Did you take care of Andy for me?" He nodded "Thank you mama jinxx love ya." The guys cracked up at the nickname I gave Jinxx.
  "Hey." Ashley gave me an apple
  "Thanks Purdy perv." I hugged him and he held on to me tightly.
  "Miss you, have a mint too." He gave me a mint, I popped it in my mouth then ate the apple once the mint disintegrated.
  "Alright, we're gonna leave you to alone so have a good night." Jake hugged me then he others.
  "Ashley." I called him once the others left
  "Yeah?"
  "What you said before I woke up was so beautiful, it made me think too. Thank you." He smiled with tears in his eyes
  "Your welcome, get some sleep."
