Disappearing

If I was to disappear from this very moment,
Would anyone really try to look for me?
Would anyone really care,
Once they realize that I was gone?
You'll probably say that you will,
& that you do care & such.
However, this is how I see it.
You'll say that you care,
& say that you'll do what ever you can to find me.
But you'll eventually get tired or forget.
Life will go on without me,
& I'll just be a lost memory.
You may care about me now,
But when time goes on,
You'll eventually forget,
& move on towards something better.
It always happens.
I'm not surprised.
So if I was to disappear right now,
You wouldn't truly care,
None of you will.
For I will be just a memory,
That you'll eventually forget about.
