Surely enough, it was him.
"Hey." Ross said with a sly smirk. He picked up one of my books with a quick motion of his hand.
"Oh um, hi." I said back, moving a strand of hair away from my face. We both made eye contact and I looked away quickly.
He continued to smirk at me. The more he looked at me the redder my face got. Something about him just make me feel... awkward. We both stood to our feet and I awkwardly speed walked back to my table.
"What was that about?" Jade said with a horrified look on her face.
"Oh nothing I just bumped into him, that's all." I said.
"Yeah he's the kid you don't want to bump into." Matt said concerned.
"You guys are totally over-reacting. I don't even know who that is anyways." I said
"That's Ross Lynch. He has a reputation for doing drugs and fucking with every girl he sees. You do not want to get caught up in that mess." Jason said.
"Well seriously, it was nothing okay? Leave it at that." Everyone became quiet and I started to eat my salad. I glanced behind me to find Ross completely staring at me. Once he noticed I noticed he was looking a me, a wide grin appeared on his face. Right then the bell rang, signaling us to go to our next class. My next class was Spanish, something I was actually looking forward to. I already knew how to speak it because my family lived in Spain for two years when I was 13, so I have known it ever since.
I entered the classroom and sat in one of the empty seats. I pulled out my supplies and wait for class to start. 10 minutes after the bell rang, a tall boy entered the classroom. A black beanie was covering his head, so I was unable to see his appearance. Then he adjusted it and I knew exactly who it was. It was the Ross kid from lunch. Just great. Once he saw me, that same smirk was plastered on his face. He didn't apologize for being late, and sat next to me. Just wonderful.
I was praying he wasn't going to talk to me, but I guess all dreams can't come true.
"Hey babe," he whispered leaning towards me.
"Do I even know you?" I retorted back in a louder whisper.
"Lunch remember? You bumped into me, so you must be into me." He said with a cheeky grin. I swear I could just punch him in the face.
"No not even close." I said with an eye roll, then leaned back into my seat.
"Oh you'll find out." He whispered to himself, barely audible.
The teacher then gave the both of us a death stare, then continued on with the lesson. Throughout the class, Ross kept trying to talk to me, but I kept ignoring him. Finally the bell rang and I got out of the class as quick as I could. I was at my locker when it was then slammed shut.
"Hey what was that fo-" I said then was cut of by being violently pressed against my locker. Ross's hot breath was blowing against my neck. I was terrified yet extremely turned on by this. Something has gotten into me.
"Hey babe, I never exactly got your name." He whispered in my ear. I was silent for a second, then thought of a good response.
"Well maybe you'll just have to find out." I whispered into his ear.
"Well then maybe I will." He said. He then pressed harder into me, inching very close to my face, and said "Talk to you later babe." then walking away, as if nothing ever happened. I was left to stay in shock, until Molly ran up to me.
"Oh my gosh Marie are you okay? You're standing there completely dazed! Did something happen?"
"No nothing happened, I'm fine." I said with a small smile.
