Large bangs could be heard in the distance, meaning someone set off a bomb or two. The light was lit up by fire in the distance, screams could be heard in the silence.
"Don't look outside."
Every time a bomb went off I jumped, and started having flashbacks. I was all along on a cold bed, Tom and the gang fast asleep, unknowing of the pain I was going through.
I turned on the lamp, wincing as another bomb exploded, this time nearer. Tom rushed in, along with Edd and Matt. I hate them seeing me this fragile. They shouldn't pity me because of my past, yet they still do.
"What?" I asked .
"W-We were worried." Edd said.
I nearly snapped at him, but kept my mouth shut. He probably felt bad for kissing me, although I don't see why. You can't help who your heart falls over.
"You shouldn't be." I said, another bomb went off, causing me to yelp.
"(Y/N)-"
"Tom please, I'm fine." I said.
"But it's Tord doing this-"
"He wouldn't hurt me." I shook my head.
"What?!" Tom yelled. "Now you trust that commie?! You realize he wiped your memory right?!"
"He told me why Tom." I snarled. "I trust him. Leave me alone."
"But-"
"Get out!" I yelled.
Tom sighed, walking away, revealing Edd and Matts saddened faces. They didn't need to go through this, maybe... maybe Tord was right. The less people you know, the less that are hurt by you disappearing.
I snuck out the window without a sound. I had my gun, my money, and was wearing my hoodie. I don't know how far I'll go, but I need to leave.
I could hear gunfire, must be a shootout between Tord and the government or something. I kept walking along the sidewalk, gunfire only getting closer.
"Get back home little lady~" someone said in front of me. "You don't want my leader to catch you out here-"
"Go ahead and Tell em." I said. "I'll just keep walking."
"Do you want to get shot?" He asked pulling out a gun.
"Depends on if you do." I said pulling out mine. "Now move before I-"
"(Y/N)?" Tord asked standing behind the guy. "You should get home before you get hurt."
"No." I said. "I'm leaving, so either shoot me, or move out of the way."
"Boss, do you know this girl?"
"Yeah, and you will not lay a hand on her or I'll-"
"(Y/N)?" The bushy eyebrow dude said, dropping and stomping on a cigarette. "How have you been? Haven't seen you since you nearly killed me." He laughed.
"I'm confused-"
"You should be." Tord rolled his eyes. "Paul take her home-"
"I'm not going home." I said crossing my arms.
"(Y/N)-"
"Fuck you!" I said, sticking my middle fingers in the air, and running into the woods.
Tords POV
"Boss-"
"Continue on with the first priority, I'll find her myself."
"But boss-"
"Now." I growled.
I walked into the dark silent woods, listening for any movement. Nothing was happening except the twinge and leaves that I was stepping on, which means so either got so far that I can't hear her, or she's hiding somewhere.
"(Y/N) you can run, you can hide, but know that I will always find you." I smirked.
I could hear her heart behind a tree, I either scared her, or her hearts aching for me. She can be such a child, but honestly, who isn't?
"(Y/N) it would be easier if you-"
A band of a bomb, a yelp of the deer, the hunter has found it prey. I jumped in front of the tree, only to find a little girl holding a stuffed animal.
"What are you doing at this kind of night?" I asked, shaking my head.
"M-My mommy told me to run..." She cried. "S-She said there's a bad man..."
"You better go on home-"
"Kathy?!" A woman shouted.
"Mommy!" The girl cried running towards her voice.
"Taking pity now huh?" (Y/N) chuckled from a tree.
"Go home (Y/N)." I sighed. "You'll only end up hurt."
"False." She said, landing softly on a rock, making her taller than me now. "Better run little boy, for the tiger is on the prowl."
"(Y/N) I'm serious, go see Tom. He's probably freaking out."
"Good, maybe then he'll let me disappear into the shadows for good." She chuckled. "I don't care anymore, I-"
"No, that's a lie." I shook my head. "You care, and you want to go home (Y/N). Why are you determined to leave?"
"Because you keep telling me not to." She shrugged.
"I'll kill him if you don't go home."
"I wouldn't let you." She said tauntingly.
"Paul, blow it up." I said into the wallow talkie.
A large bang rang out from where Tom was, her face turned to pure rage, and sadness.
"YOU SON OF A BITCH!" She screamed, pinning me to the ground.
She pulled out a gun, cocked it, and placed it right to my forehead.
"He's not dead, they left a few moments ago to find you." I smirked.
"How do I know you aren't lying?!" She cried, hand itching to pull the trigger.
"You don't." I said, glaring into her eyes. "So it's either you trust me, or you kill me. I won't fight back."
"The prey has become the hunter." She whispered. "You fucking idiot."
I could only laugh.
"(Y/N)?!" I heard Edds shaky voice call out.
I smacked the gun away, grabbing onto her hoodie, hard. I dragged her over to Edd, making sure that he understood me.
"Edd, you tell Tom and Matt to keep her indoors. Don't let her out or I'll have to keep her in a basement until she begs to leave. And I won't let her leave."
He nodded his head, catching her as I threw her onto the ground.
"Don't leave the fucking house." I growled, walking back to my army.
Her house wasn't exploded, I blew up Eddwardos remaining things. He was the only who nearly killed her, at least now he can see Jon. His other friend disappeared, possibly dead. I can't blame him, I took everything from them, he tried to give me the same treatment.
