Alex's P.O.V

****************

The drive to the warehouse was short. The car sped through the streets, past others and flying by street lights, not caring for the color of the light. Blake sat in the passenger seat beside me complaining the entire time but I continued to pretend I couldn't hear him.

All I kept hearing was those words from the phone.

As soon as we pulled up in front of the building I shot out of the car, not caring to shut it off or even close the door behind me. I heard Blake call out something behind me but I was already too far ahead to pay him any attention.  I stepped into the building and saw that Noah must have called the rest of the boys as they were all huddled together in a circle in front of a door.

"Where is she?" I spoke up suddenly, causing them all to jump slightly in their spots.

"Jesus Christ." Noah muttered and cupped his hand over his chest. "Ring a bell would you?"

"Oh quit being such a prick." Drew muttered and stepped away from the door. "Shes in there but she wouldn't come with any of us."

"I don't blame her." I roll my eyes and looked them over. Most of them were still dressed in all black from the night before. We had been checking out the crime scene, so to stay out of sight we did what we usually did and we wore all black. What we didn't usually do, was go at a case all night.

"Yeah sorry, we didn't have the time to make ourselves presentable." he rolled his eyes and sighed. "Look we don't know when these guys are going to be back to check on her. We need to get her and ourselves out here before this turns into a fight that we arrant ready for."

"What Drew is trying to say.." Trevor looked over, shooting him a look. "Is that youre better with kids than any of us ever will be. We cant get her out, but you have a better shot."

I looked around at them and they all took a step back away from the door. I was hesitant but I knew they weren't going to be getting her out any time soon, not at her own will at least. I nodded slightly and brushed past them, pulling the latch on the door open and turning the cold knob slowly.

I pushed the door open and took in my surroundings quickly. The walls were dirty and gray looking, all though the dirt covering them made it hard to tell if that was their original color or not. The floors had spots where the tile had chipped and broken off, leaving sharp and jagged corners sticking out at the edges. There was no furniture in the room, just its heavy air and strange vibe. Odd colored stains could be seen across the floor and some parts of the walls, but the window caught my attention the most. It was a single window, high up on the wall. It was high enough that it made me doubt if even I could reach it. The glass looked thicker than usual window glass, bullet proof maybe? Shatter proof? It was tinted, making it hard to tell if the light was from the sun setting or rising. I could only imagine that at sunset it would be hard to tell if there was any light at all. Metal bars blocked the window even further, at the height it was I didn't understand the need for so much protection. Assurance maybe?

The door shut behind me and I took a deep breath. With the light from the outside being cut off the room seemed darker, sadder. Out of the corner of my eye I could see a small shape huddled tightly in the corner. If I squinted my eyes, I could just barely make out her face.

"Lucy?" I spoke softly and took a small step forward towards her.

She quickly shifted away from me and I quickly took a step back away from her.

"Its okay Lucy I'm not here to hurt you, I'm here to get you out." I held my hands up for her to see that they were empty. "My names Alex, I know what happened sweetheart and I just want to get you away from the bad people." I took a couple steps towards her, her eyes watching me carefully but letting me approach.
