In Your Eyes (BaekMi)

Introduction

"Baek, wait!" Baekhyun stopped but remain standing, his back facing Bomi. Bomi then ran towards him and gathered her courage. "I have a confession to make." She heard him sigh.

"I already know it, Bom." He seriously said and turn to look at her.

"I know, but I want it from my own mouth. Oppa, I love you more than a best friend." She said while looking into his eyes. She said it with all courage she gathered.

She really wanted to tell him her true feelings a long time ago but she didn't have any courage. Maybe because of the alcohol she drank, she became brave and bold to tell him now.

Baekhyun, Bomi, and her twin sister Sumi are childhood friends. They were together since they were young until now that they are in college. Even though they have different degree program, she changed some of her schedules just to have time with Baekhyun.

"Yoon Bomi." She can feel the fast beating of her heart as Baekhyun called her by her complete name. It's a sign that Baekhyun is either serious or irritated.

"What? Are you irritated because I confessed to you? Baek, I really wanted to tell you this a long time ago. And I just confessed, what's wrong with that?" She irritatingly said. She's the one who confessed and she loss her dignity, and now Baekhyun is irrirated because it? "I just want to let this out, Baek. Yes, I confessed that I love you but that doesn't mean you are obliged to love me back. I'm hoping that you will, bu—"

"That's the reason why. You confessed. Do you think it won't affect our friendship?" And reality hits her. Baekhyun has a point. What will happen to their friendship now? "For now, let's not see each other. This is for our own good. Goodbye and good night. Keep safe." And before she can utter a word, Baek turned his back at her and walked away.

She just looked at him, her tears blinded her eyes. She can feel herself weaken, dropping herself to the ground and crying her whole heart out.
