In Your Eyes (BaekMi)

Chapter 2

"Yah! Stop messing my hair, Baek!" And Sumi slapped Baek's hand. Bomi glanced at them and shook her head. "Yah, sis! Baek is totally irritating me. Is he here just to irritate us?"

"Yah! The two of you! You both are too noisy and you're disturbing me. Psh!" And she turns to her drawing paper and get her mechanical pen. She is seriously making her plates while the two barged in her room and they are just making noises. "Why are you both here anyway? Just get out and stay in the living room."

"You're too serious, Bbom. You can do it later. I'll tell you the details about what happened last night." And Bomi stopped making her drafts when she heard him.

She knew that the date went well 'cause she witnessed it herself. Even if it hurts looking at the one you love happy with another girl, she did her best to look at them. Yep! She followed them until the so-called date ended.

"Then tell me about it while I'm doing my plates. The deadline's approaching and I really need to finish them." And she continued her plates.

Bomi is a Civil Engineering student while her twin, Sumi is an Electronics Engineering. Baekhyun is taking up Business Administration. The three of them are freshmen.

"Okay fine. Just tell me if you're distracted, okay? Maybe next days you'll gonna blame me for making your plates ugly. Haha." She just sighed. If only Baekhyun knows that she was already distracted because of the so-called date that is running in her mind. Sometimes she drew the wrong pattern 'cause she simply can't focus.

"Okay, okay! Don't worry, I'll push you out the moment I get distracted." In fact, I want to push you out right now cause your presence itself is my distraction.

"Come on, Baek. Just tell it already." The twin said in unison, and they look at themselves while laughing.

"Tsss, arasso. You both are impatient. No wonder why you both are identical twins. You have the same face, and also the same personality." He pouts, sitting down on the edge of Bomi's bed, while Sumi is sitting on Bomi's drafting chair, pair with the drafting table, since Bomi is standing while doing her plates.

"Stop saying so many things. Start talking about your date. Aigoo!" Baekhyun just shook his head at Sumi's comment. He really can't defend himself when the twins oppose him.

"We went to the amusement park and rode all the rides..." Baekhyun starts talking while Bomi is lost in reality when she remembered what happen last night.

She saw how happy Baekhyun and Taeyeon are while riding the ferris wheel. She wanted to ride to but she's afraid of heights. She saw how determined Baekhyun was to shoot down the cans and he got the life-size teddy for Taeyeon. She saw him wiping the side of Taeyeon's lips while eating hotdog bun. She saw the two holding hands while making their way to the horror house and even how scared she is, she followed them inside...all alone. With just herself. Even how terrified she was, she never screamed. She was just silently crying. She saw him kissing Taeyeon on the cheeks before she went inside the bus. She saw Baekhyun smiling like crazy while entering the bus an even though they have the same destination, she didn't ride the bus 'cause she didn't want him to see her. She waited for another bus.

"Sis! Hello~ Bomi to earth!" Bomi snapped out of her thoughts and looked at the two who are looking at her with concern in their faces. "Baekhyun is done with his story-telling and I think they both are suitable for each other. Let's do it with our future boyfriend. So if I were you, I'll say yes to Taejoon." And Sumi even winks at her. She glared at her twin sister while Baekhyun is looking at them both, totally confused.

"I didn't know that someone's courting you, Bbom. Why didn't you tell me?" She just ignored Baek and continued her plates.

"It's so rare to spend time with you, Baek especially now that you have Taeyeon." Bomi heard Sumi answered and shook her head. Baekhyun was about to say something when they heard the twins' mom calling them. "Baek, sis, let's eat. Just continue doing your plates later." She nodded and the three of them went downstairs to eat.

After eating their dinner, Bomi went back to her room to continue her plates but Baekhyun followed her upstairs.

"Where did you go last night?" Bomi turns to look at Baek, shock is visible in her face. So he saw me last night. Aish, jinjja! "I saw you last night outside your house. That was almost 12AM. Where have you been that you arrived home that late?" She can feel that he is angry.

"I uhm... I went to Chorong's house to give her her notebook. I accidentally brought it with me and she needed it since midterm is approaching." She lied. Seems that Baekhyun believes her so she sigh in relief. "Baek, it's almost 10. Don't you want to go back to your house?"

"Pfftt! Our house is just five houses away from your, Bbom. We live in the same subdivision." Bomi just rolled her eyes at him and focused on her plates. "Wae? Do you want me to leave now? That's rude of you, chingu."

"I want to sleep after this, Baek and I just want to walk you outside while I still want to."

"Whatever. Let's go. I don't want to walk outside your house alone." Baekhyun then went near her and put his arm around her shoulders, dragging her.

"You take care, okay? Good night Baek." Bomi said as they arrived on the front gate, removing Baek's arm. She was about to close the gate when Baekhyun stopped her.

"Wait! Why are you so excited for me to leave? Tss. You forgot something." Baek said and pointed his cheek. She rolled her eyes.

"We can't do that anymore, Baek. We're not kids anymore. And you already have Taeyeon that can kiss your cheeks anytime."

"But it's different when it comes from my best friend. Come on, Bbom. Do you not love me anymore?" And now he's pouting. Bomi wants to hit him on the head for being so cute and irresistible but she just laughs. If only you knew, Baek. I love you. I love you till the end. "Yah! Stop laughing at me. I'm dead serious here."

"Fine! But this would be the last time." They moved closer to each other and she gave him a peck on his cheek. "Good night, Baek. Sweet dreams." Baek turns his back on her and she stares at him. "And hey..." She called. Baekhyun turned to look at her with a questioning look. "...text me when you got home. Just making sure that you arrive home safely." Baekhyun just nodded and turned his back at her again.

'Baek, I hope that I will not totally lose you. I can't lose you.' And with that, she closed the gate and went to her room.
