chapter 8: double crush?

martinus pov//
my heart was racing as the doctor came out. this was my fault if i had just trusted her and not followed her we would never be here.

doctor-"mrs. anderson, me anderson. your daughter is awake. she is very dizzy and might not remember some things but you should still see her. just the parents first we don't want to overwhelm her.

it killed me that i couldn't see her. i messed up so bad, marcus was crying still. i sat by his side and he rested his head on mine. mom came over to both of us and gave us a hug. it was hard to see my twin hurting to bad, i could feel his pain and he could feel mine. he loves luna.

luna's pov//
i was just slowly starting to wake up. it hurt so much everywhere. my ribs were still bleeding from the fall, and my leg was wrapped in a cast. my head was pounding like crazy and it hurt to breathe. i saw two figures approaching, i was hoping it would be the twins but it was my parents? im surprised they came.

mom-"oh luna! luna we were so worried about you. please don't run again."

she was crying and i was too now.

luna-"i didn't think you guys cared if i were gone. you always fight around me and dad you hurt me."

dad-"i'm sorry luna. i know i have been tough on you since the accident but i love you. don't run again please. you are lucky you have two friends who care enough to look for you. if they didn't find you you would have been gone."

luna-"i love you guys."

i couldn't sit up to hug them so they came to me. i really just wanted to see marcus.

luna-"mom, can i see them please?"

mom-"we will give you some time with them, we have some paperwork to fill out. i will go get them."

my heart was racing as i thought of them. i wanted to see them so badly. i love marcus and nobody else. it's hard to admit that i love him but i do. i saw two people coming towards the door. i was in so much pain but i didn't care. they came through the door. marcus looked like he had been crying and martinus looked like he had been upset too.

luna-"marcus? martinus?"

twins-"luna!"

they ran to me and hugged me. it hurt because of my ribs.

luna-"ouch!"

marcus-"i'm sorry i didn't mean to hug you too hard."

luna-"it's okay. i missed your hugs anyway. i'm sorry i didn't answer you guys i just..."

i started crying again.

luna-"i just thought you didn't care anymore. i thought i wasn't meant to be here."

martinus-"luna it's okay. i'm so sorry i didn't trust you and that i made you run. marcus he had nothing to do with it. it was me."

marcus-"i'm sorry i didn't go after you sooner. i'm glad i found you before i lost you."

luna-"mom told me you guys came to get me. i'm really lucky to have you boys."

i gave them both hugs. i loved being in there arms.

marcus-"luna? will you please make me the happiest guy in the world and stay my girlfriend?"

luna-"oh marcus. you never lost me."

i gave him a huge hug. i looked at martinus after. his brown eyes met my blue eyes. he looked at me and i smiled at him. i wrapped my arms around him. marcus joined in. then we were interrupted by the doctors.
