We left at noon and got home late. I was tired again so I just went straight to my bedroom.

I opened my door to my bedroom. I'm so glad to be home. I push the door shut and walk to the middle of the room. For some reason I twirl around for a while before I crash on my bed.

Being Sabrina carpenter has really changed me. I'm happy inside and I'm happy with myself. It also helps to have Shawn,my mum, Riley and my other friends.

I quickly undress and put my PJs on. I dive back into my bed and snuggle into myself under the duvet. The faster I go to sleep the faster I wake up and the faster I can go see Riley again.

I drift of into a peaceful sleep with a smile on my face, I seem to do this a lot.

"Maya!" I heard my mum call from outside my room. "Riley has came to see you!"

Riley! I jump out of bed and pull on my dressing gown and slippers. She the only person I'll get up early for.

My bedroom door opens and in comes my best friend.

"Peaches!" She calls opening her arms .
"Honey!" I call mimicking her actions.

We run into each others arms and hug each other tightly.
When we pull apart we sit on my bed.

"I know your ill peaches but I couldn't wait to see you." Riley says crossing her legs and placing her hands on her knees. "I need to tell someone!"

"Tell someone what?" I ask.

"About Lucas!"

This is a conversation I don't want to be apart of. But I can't just ignore her.

"We kissed at midnight!"

"That's great" I try to say with the least sarcasm possible. I put on a big smile to make it more believable.

"It was amazing. Its not like the other kisses we've had. This one was so romantic. I felt sparks." I try not to let my pain show. "I'm in love Maya"

Riley dramatically falls back and let's of a loud sigh.

"Well how does Lucas feel?" I ask, my fingers crossed behind my back that maybe she thought he was a little wired after the kiss or something

"I honestly think he feels the same Maya. The way he looked into my eyes. There was so much love. We held hands all night, the only time we were apart was when we went to the loo."

"I'm happy for you Riley."

"I knew it was a good idea to ask him if he wanted me to be his girlfriend. But I wouldn't have asked if you didn't make me. My happiness is all down to you."

I remember that day like it was yesterday, it was before I knew I liked him,so it was way back in 2015 I think.
But those three little words that clueless Maya said caused a lot of pain for the new and improved Maya 2.0.

"Maya! I'm being serious. I really think he's cute! And I know I'll mess it up" Riley giggled looking at the cowboy.

"Oh come on Riley. I know I tease you about being clueless when it comes to boys but you and him are so alike. I bet he's as clueless as you." I groan getting tired of this conversion.

"Maya please give me some advice your great with guys."

"Just talk to him" I said shoving her forward slightly.

"You think? Should I be myself?"

"Yes!"

Riley starts walking towards Lucas. She stops and turns around fear spreading across her face.

I mouth to her 'talk to him' using exaggerated hand expressions.

Riley turns back around and continues walking to him. She taps his shoulder. Lucas turns around and looks at her.

I can't make out what they're saying but I knew things are going well.

Riley's got a cute smile plastered on her face, Lucas a smirk. Riley's twiddling her hair in her fingers and giggling every so often.

My little klutz is growing up. I turn on my heels and walk into Matthews classroom.

"Your welcome Honey." I say. This time I couldn't keep the sadness out of my voice.

"Maya what's wrong?"

"Nothing, don't worry."

"If you think I'm gonna put Lucas before you don't worry I wont. You always come first Maya. I could never push you aside. You know that."

"I know, I do. I love you riles"

"I love you too peaches."
