The bus ride was short. Luckily no one recognised me as Sabrina. I had my hood up sat at the back of the bus and kept my headphones in.
I turn the corner and see my destination before me. The palace. Quickly I jog over as it begins to rain full pelt. When I reach the door man I peel back the hood of my jacket.
"Ah, Miss Carpenter. How lovely to see you again. Come on in and out of the rain." He says while pulling open the gold and glass doors. "Thank you." I say whilst walking in through the open door. I hear the door swing shut behind me and begin to walk to the elevator. Once I get there I press the button and wait for the ding and the doors to open.
When inside I press my desired floor and wait. Quite music plays on my ride up to the penthouse. The music stops and the doors open. I leave the elevator and walk into a beautiful room.
"Oh your soaked right through dear." Says the familiar voice of Octavia, the maid of this residence. "Lilian will be right down. Let's get you some dry clothes and a hot drink. Go sit down."
"If you don't mind Lily said to go straight up to her room when I get here." I say back turning towards the spiral staircase.
"Not at all. Go on up." Octavia says.
I nod and begin my climb up the stairs. Once up I walk down the hall to the last door. Its open and inside on the bed she waits for me. Lily turns her head and when she sees me she jumps up and comes over.
Lily is the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. She has long blonde hair and stunning light brown eyes. Lily's about 5.7 and she's very slim.
"I would hug you S but your a bit wet." She says giggling.
"I didn't notice."I reply.
Lily's a model but that's isn't what she's known for most. She is the secret child of Vivian and Bart Van Carr wealthy millionaires. She has it all the perfect family, money, everything. Or that's what people think.
Until the age of 14 she was kept secret from the world, no one other than close family knew she existed. Lily felt so alone. She had no one apart from Octavia to keep her company as her parents were always away on business. Lily attempted to take her own life and the secret was revealed to the world when she was rushed to hospital by Octavia and Charlie, the door man. Nobody knows it was a suicide attempt.
