Me and Riley arrived at this little cafe 10 minutes ago and she's been talking non stop about the most random things. It's cute, but also annoying!
Finally I see a waitress come towards our table. I quickly flag her down and she walks over.
"What can I do for ya?" She ask with a strong country accent. "I'll have a large coke, what about u Riley?" "I'll have the same as Lukey but small!"answers Riley putting her hand on mine. I cringe at Lukey.
"Sure thing...you two are cute for each other!" She says before turning around and walking of to the kitchen. I feel my checks redden.
"Aw! We're the perfect couple, even strangers think so!" Riley giggles putting her other hand on my other.
I finally look at Riley and study her. When I picked her up Mr.Matthews wouldn't stop staring at me and I felt so uncomfortable and all her talking took away from how beautiful she looked today.
"Did I tell you you look really pretty today Riley?" I say whilst tangling our fingers together. This time she goes red.
"Thank you Lucas."
We just sit like that for a while until our drinks come.
We start to talk about school and how we think our first day of high school will be when suddenly my phone lights up and the song I'msexyandIknowitblares from it. Wtf?
I pick it up and Zay's caller ID shows on the screen. I roll my eyes. He probably put it as my ringtone.
"Its Zay. I'll quickly take this. Why don't u decide what you want to eat." I tell Riley, she nods her head and picks up the menu.
I stand up and walk outside. I slide my finger on the phone and put it to my ear.
"Dude!" He shouts. I pull the phone away from my ear."
"What do you want I'm busy! And what's the deal with changing my ringtone jack ass!"
"You know you love me because ....I'm sexy and I know it!" I roll my eyes.
"Whatever, why did u call?"
"That singer yourinlovewith" I hear the mocking in his voice."she's on the radio right now, taking questions.
"Wait really!"
"Yeah and maybe of you talk to her you'll finally realise she out of you league and that you should just settle with Riley."
"I wouldn't be settlingif I'm with Riley, she really nice."
"Yeah she is and you are too, so that's why u need to be together. Your perfect."
