Chapter 6

Stacey's P.O.V~

I wake up in Johnnys arms and I smile before getting out of bed. I go shower and put my hair into two Dutch braids before putting on skinny jeans, a white tshirt and a leather jacket with converses. I put on some light makeup and walk downstairs. I see Ponyboy and Darry in the kitchen.

"Morning brothers!" I say smiling. "Morning loser." Pony boy says. Darry smacks him upside the head then smiles at me. "Morning princess." He says. I smile and grab a cup of coffee. "What's everyone's plans for today?" Darry asks. "Probably the movies tonight but I think I want to just have a lazy day. " I say. They both nod. Johnny and Soda come down the stairs. "Hey dorks." I say to them while laughing."Hey beautiful." Johnny says while kissing my cheek. I blush deeply and smile at him. Two-Bit and Steve come in.

"GUYS THE SOCS WANT TO RUMBLE!" Two-Bit says. We all look up. "What do you mean?" I ask. "Well little lady, Dally might've keyed 5 of their cars and crashed one of them into the other four completely ruining them and now they want to get back at all of us. Plus little miss swingy fighting Bobs sister didn't help either." Steve says looking at me. "Ohhh a rumble!" Soda says."My first real rumble!" I say.
"You are not going." Darry says. "Yes I am." I respond."No I'm not letting you get hurt." He says. "Part of the reason we're having this rumble is because of me." I say."She has a point Dar."Pony says. "I'll think about it." He says.i nod and then Dally comes in.

"Hey gang!" He says. "We're having a rumble!!"He continues. "You guys are, Darry might not let me fight." I say. "Nah you're fighting cause that ugly broad you fought is gonna be there and she wants to destroy you but you are gonna make sure never messes with you." Dally says. "Fine she can fight but someone is gonna be watching her at all times." Darry says. We all cheer and celebrate for a couple of minutes.
"Stacey,before you do anything today you better clean your room." Soda says."Why?" I ask. "It's dirty, clean it." He responds crossing his arms. I roll my eyes and go upstairs to pick it up.

"AND DONT ROLL YOUR EYES AGAIN" I hear Soda yell up the stairs. I pick up my room quickly and run back down the stairs. "So you guys wanna play some football?" Dal asks. I nod and grab the football. "Let's go guys." I say. Everyone, even Darry comes out.
"Alright team captains, any volunteers?" Darry asks. "Me!" Pony boy and I say at the same time."Fine the twins are captains" Darry says."The lady gets first pick!" He continues. I pick Darry first then Pony picks Soda. "I choose Johnny." I say. Johnny smiles at me. "I choose Dally!" Pony says."Twobit" I say. Pony looks at me and smirks."Steve." He says. "Alright Pony your team has ball first and we are playing tackle. " Darry says. We all nod and get ready to play.

We start playing and Johnny hikes the ball to me and then Pony tackles me to the ground. Hard. He then helps me up."You okay?" He asks. I nod."You're getting it now sucker." I say. "Mhmm." He says. They get the ball and the ball is handed to Pony and I tackle him as fast as possible."Holy crap!" Pony says while getting up."what?" I ask.

"You just pinned Pony like he was 100 pounds lighter than you." Dally says. "When did you get so strong?" Soda asks. "I don't know, kinda just happened I guess." I say back. "Forget worrying about her for the rumble, she'll be fucking those girls up!" Pony says laughing. Darry swats his bum for cursing and Pony grumbles. We keep playing and my team ends up winning.
We are about to head back when we see a mustang drive past. Darry pushes Pony,Johnny and I behind him,Dally and Soda. Johnny grabs my hand and gives me a reassuring squeeze. I smile at him and kiss his cheek. They drive past and we all let out a sigh. We head back to my house.
