Hazel and I get out of the car and walk towards the huge building. I look up and it seems to go on for miles. "Come on, Alice." Hazel says, laughing. I nod and follow her inside.
There, stands Simon Cowell. "Hello Aunt Hazel!" He says to her. Hazel and Simon hug. When they pull back, Simon notices me. "And this, I presume, is our new song writer and vocal coach?" Simon says, evaluating me. I gulp and mentally thank what ever higher beings out there that I wore a nice outfit today (Author's Note: Picture at the side!). And that Lizette didn't spit up on it.
Simon smiles at me. "Welcome! What's your name?" He asks. "Ash- Alice!" I say quickly, trying to cover up my mistake. "Great, lets go meet the boys." He says, turning on his heel down a hallway.

"Boys, this is Alice. She will be your new song writer." Simon tells the boys. I look at every one of them. Harry, Louis, Zayn, Liam, and then, Niall. He doesn't seem to recognize me. Score!
I raise my hand up and sheepishly wave. "Hello." I hear a chorus of 'hellos'. I also hear a deep voice speak up, "Hello, Alice. Where have you been all of my life?" I roll my eyes. "Hiding from you." I say nonchalantly, shrugging. Then, I remember that Simon is in the room. "Oh, I'm sorry. That was rude." I say quickly. Simon just looks at me and laughs. "I like her." Harry looks disappointed and the other boys are laughing too.
Simon turns to me. "Do you think we could try out one of your songs?" He asks. I nod and pull out my song book. "What kind of song would you like? Fun or touching?" I ask. "Fun." All of the boys say at once, before Simon can answer. He nods and I pick out Kiss You (Author's Note: Remember guys, I don't own any of these songs!). I hand the song to the boys. Little Prepared Me, I already wrote down the notes.

"So...." I say in the awkwardly quiet room. "You have the job!" Simon says. I thank him and get my schedule.
"Uh, I'll see you guys tomorrow." I say nervously, scratching the back of my head. Hazel and I turn around and leave the room.
I catch Niall staring at me, just for a second. Oh boy, what have I gotten myself into?
