Chapter Eighteen
Sapphire's POV

We walked out of the car, and knocked on the door.

J-"Sapphire!" He said as he picked me up and spun me around like when I was little.

"Hi Uncle Jay." I said laughing as he put me down.

J-"How's my favorite 10 year old."

"I'm 14."

J-"I know, come in." He said as we walked inside.

"Uncle Jay, do you know the skill "Dragón de fuego." ("Fire Dragon")?"

J-"Of course, that's one of my favorite tricks, why?"

"Can you teach me?, I need to learn that trick in a week or two, or else I have to wait another month to learn Water/Ice."

J-"Ok, but it took me a while to learn it."

Me and Uncle Jay walked into his (fireproof) basement, where he would train me, well my Dad talked to my Aunt Corina, who was expecting twins I think.

J-"How much can you do?" He asked as he turn the light on.

"A little bit."

I showed him what I could do, I was able to make a (Fire) Dragon show up for a few seconds before it sparked and faded away.

J-"Your getting there, just try and focus more."

I tried to concentrate, but it just sparked out again, with the (burning) sparks landing on my arm. I smiled a little but stop before Uncle Jay could see.

"What's going on?!" I thought as I saw the little burns slowly fade away.

C-"Jay, Can you come here please?!"
We heard Aunt Corina, say/yell from upstairs.

J-"Coming!" He said as he started to walk upstairs.

"I'm gonna stay down here and practice." I said somewhat lying.

J-"Ok." Uncle Jay said as he continued to walk upstairs, and closed the door.

I walked over to make sure the door was close before I walked back I stared at my hand.

"I must be crazy, but I need to know."
I thought as I looked at my hand one more time, before it was swallowed by flames.

I raised my (right) hand (that was covered with flames) to my (left) arm, I hesitated, before pressing my burning hand against my arm.

I tried not to scream as I burned my arm, I was about to remove my and when suddenly the pain went away, and it turned into the reliving feeling I felt before.

"Isn't this the same feel people say they have when they...Cut?, But I'm not depressed...Am I?"

I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard someone about to open the door.
I quickly removed my hand, making the flames go out.
The door opened and Aunt Corina walked have way down the stairs.

C-"Sapphire, we're going to watch a movie, if you want to join us."

"Ok." I said as I started to walk up the stairs.

C-"What happened to your arm?!" She said panicked, as she grabbed my arm to get a closer look at my burn.

"I just "accidentally" burn myself well I was practicing." I said not telling her that I burned myself on purpose.

C-"Here let me heal you." She said running her hand over my arm, leaving no trace of the burn.

"Thanks, Aunt Corina."

C-"No problem, Sapphire." She said as she turned off the light, and we walked up the stairs.

~Time skip~

We finished watching the movie (Suicide Squad), and it was about 7:30pm.

D-"It's getting late, we should get going." My dad said as he stood up.

"Good bye, Aunt Corina." I said as I gave her a hug.

C-"Good bye, sweetie." She said as I pulled away.

"Good bye, Uncle Jay." I said as he gave me a bear hug.

J-"Good bye, Sapphire." He said as he let go, and we walk back to the car, and drove home.

Author's Note- Yay! 😄 two chapters in one day!, didn't think I'd finsh this chapter so soon, if anyone is wondering Uncle Jay and Aunt Corina was based off of El Diablo and his wife from Suicide Squad, Jay and Corina are their real names (yes, I looked it up), Anyway, I hope you liked this chapter, please don't give up on this book, I will try to update as soon as possible (ASAP), again I hope your liking this book!
