                       Peter's POV

"Sapphire wait!" I yelled as I ran after her.

S-"Go away!" She yelled back as she picked up her speed.

By the time I caught up with her, she was already at the docs about to jump in the water.

"Please just talk to me."

S-"It's over Peter, I don't want to start something if we can't finish it."

"Sapphire, I don't care what Amelia said. I want to be with you, not Lexi. I want to marry you, not Lexi. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, not Lexi. I'm on love with you, not Lexi. Please Sapphire don't do this."

S-"I love you too, but we already know what the future will bring."

"Yes, and that's how I know we won't break up. Because if we break up now than we wouldn't have been married in the future, unless we started dating again in the next 3 years."

Sapphire looked down knowing I was right.

S-"How can I still date you, knowing how this is going to turn out? I know that my choice has already been made, or we wouldn't be having this conversation. But still, what I'm supposed to do? Everytime I see you and Lexi bonding and hanging out together, I just know what's going to happen. That you two will end up together, and live happily ever after."
She said as we sat down putting our feet in the water and she put her head on my shoulder.

"We can't be 100% sure what's going to happen there are many different theories on time travel/changing the future. Some people believe that if you know what's going to happen in the future and try to change it, it wouldn't work because if it did, you wouldn't need to go back in time to change it. Some people believe that the future is set in stone and that you can go back in time and do what ever you want and it wouldn't matter. And others believe that if you go back in time and change something, the future needs to automatically fix what you just changed. Like if you go back in time and carve something into a tree or something the future needs to automatically add that carving to the tree so it still lines up with the past."

S-"You got that last one from Kingdom Keepers - The Return didn't you?" She asked with a little laugh.

"Maybe" I said with a smile knowing that she liked that series.

S-"Well which one do you believe?" She said sitting up and looking up at me.

"Which ever one let's me be with you." I said as I kissed her forehead.

She smiled and looked down so I wouldn't see her blush.

"Come on, let's go back inside."

She nodded and we got up and walked back to the house.
