Chapter Seventeen

                 Chapter Seventeen
                       Keda’s POV

                     ~3 days later~

We said good bye to everyone as they left.

"Sapphire!" I yelled as she started to walk back to her houseboat.

S-"Yes." She said turning around annoyed.

"I want to talk about your skills."  I said as I sat down on a chair (that I made)

S-"Fine." She said sitting down next to me.

"Why, do you want to learn Water/Ice,
so bad?"

S-"I thought we were going to talk about my skills."

"Please, Sapphire."

S-"Fine, can you blame me for wanting to learn, I mean I live on a Lake in a houseboat, I go swimming every day, I'm even name after my birthstone which is the color of the sea (at night)"

"Those are some good points, but here's some more, The lake you live on is called Fuego which is Spanish for Fire, and not to mention your last name, and your name, yes it is a birthstone that is the color of the sea (at night), but it's also the color of (very hot) fire, and even the stone/gem, has phire (fire) in the name."

                         ~Silence~

"If you really want to learn, I will give you a very advanced skill, the last one I learned for fire, if you can learn it in a week or two, I will teach you
Water/Ice, but if, you can't you will wait another month, that includes Lexi teaching you. Deal?"

S-"Deal." She said after thinking about it.

S-"What's the skill?"

                  Sapphire's POV

Keda showed me the skill, it's called
"Dragón de fuego." (That's Spanish for
"Fire Dragon".)

"I'll see you in a week."

Ke-"Bye, Sapphire."

"Bye, Keda." I said as I walked away.

I swam out to the platform (high dive)
in the center of the lake.

"I won't be able to destroy that much out here."  I thought as I stood up.

I tried it a couple of times, failing, but after my 5th maybe 6th time, my hand slipped and I burned myself (my arm to be exact) it hurt at first, but than after a few seconds it felt almost reliving... I was about to see if it was just in my head, (by burning my arm again) When I heard my Father calling for me, from the houseboat.

D-"SAPPHIRE!"

"YEAH DAD?!" I yelled back. (So he could hear me)

D-"WE'RE GOING TO VISIT UNCLE JAY
TODAY!, WE SHOULD LEAVE IN A COUPLE MINUTES!"

"OK!" I yelled happily.

You see my Uncle Jay, had fire powers too, he would have inherited Lake Fuego, since he's older, but turned it down, so he could focus on his job.
I knew he would help me learn this skill, since he's taught me everything I knew, before Keda became my new "Element Trainer".
I dove into the water, and started swimming back to the house(boat).

I few minutes later I got out of the water and dried myself off, I grabbed my dress off of the chair I put it on before I left, and through it on over my swimsuit, and started to brush my (wet) hair.

D-"Ready to go?"

"Yep." I said as I put my hairbrush down, and walked to the car.

       ~Time skip to when they get
              to Uncle Jay's house~

D-"We're here." My dad said snapping me out of my thoughts.

I smiled and we walked out of the car.

Author's Note- Hey, this and the next few chapters are going to be fillers, till Chapter 20, I know what I want to do with this book, I just don't know how to get there in the next couple chapters, anyway I really hope you like this chapter (even though it was a filler), please don't give up on this book, I will try to update as soon as possible (ASAP)
