Chapter Seven
Ava's POV

~The next day~

I wake up to some one knocking on my door.

"E komo mai i loko."

~door opens~

K-"I'm just going to assume that means come in." She says with a little giggle.

"It does, I'm used to taking in Hawaiian with Lexi... and my mom." I say as I try not to cry at the memory of her.

K-"Are you ready for training?"

"Yeah, what are we doing?"

K-"You'll have to wait and see."

~Smiles~

K-"Breakfast is in 10."

"Ok." I say as she walks out the door.

I get up to change, I put on my favorite dress, light gray flats, and my black choker, that mom gave me.

I grab my pink purse/bag as I was about to walk out the door.

"Since we're training I should bring my spell book, maybe I can use one of mom's spells."

I go to grab my spell book from inside one of the "books" that I put on the shelf.
When I open the book it's empty.

"Where is it?!"

"Accio Exponentia Libris."

~Nothing happens~

"Why isn't the spell working?!"

"Accio Exponentia Libris!"

~Nothing happens~

"What's going on?!"

~Knock, knock, knock~

K-"Ava, it's time for breakfast."

"Ok, I'll be there in a second."

I walk down stairs still confused.

"I'm I losing my magic, I wanted to lose my life powers, not all my magic!"

~Time skip to Training~

We were in to classes Elements and Non-Elements (my group).

K-"We're giving you some basic spell books that let you come up with the best combination of words, for what you need." Kya said as Keda gave us each a spell book.

~Closes spell book~

"These really are basic spells." I thought as I put the spell book in my bag.

K-"Willow, would you mind growing a rose for me?"

W-"Umm, sure." she said as she grow a rose out of the ground.

K-"Thank you, Ava will you come here please."

"Alright." i say as i walk forward.

K-"I want you to heal my arm." She says as she takes the rose having the thorns cut her arm and blood runs down.

"Ok." I say nervously.

I close my eyes and run my hand over her arm healing it.

"I did it."

Kya smiles at me before her arm turns yellow and she grabs it in pain.

"What did i do?!" I said with fear in my voice.

K-"You healed it and than made it infected, now try to heal it again." she says calmly.

"Curare Iniuriam." I say under my breath as I run my hand over her arm again, and heals it.

Kya knows I used a spell but she doesn't say anything. instead they give us stuff to do with our powers.

Ke-"Willow build a house over there, Peter fly to the top of the mountain, Sapphire start 10 camp fires away from the trees, and Lexi make ice sculptures use the water to design them and then freeze them." Keda says as everyone walks away once they were given something to do.

K-"Parker teleport to those logs over there stack them using telekinesis and than teleport back, Morgen go have a conversation with 10 animals, and Ava you'll stay here with me." Kya said what I'd do, after everyone left.

"What I'm I doing wrong, I can heal myself perfectly fine." I say as I cut my arm with the rose like she did and it heals instantly .

K-"Everyone with the gift of life can heal them self without thinking, but it takes time to heal others. When you heal someone it works but when you see that they're healed you stop paying attention before the spell is 100% finished, and it reverses the spell making it hurt them instead of healing them. So when you see they're healed focus on the spell for 30 seconds so the spell has time to finish. Now I want you to try again without using a spell." she says as she cut her arm with the rose again.

"Ok."

I run my hand over her arm again, when I opened my eyes (and saw she was healed) I focused on the spell for another 30 seconds. When I stopped the cut didn't turn infected, all it did was leave a scar.

K-"See, you'll get the hang of this soon." She says as she makes the scar disappear.

By the time I was finished training everyone else came back and it was time for dinner.

A/N- Yay I got another chapter done! sorry if it sucked, I didn't think it would be hard to think of what they should do for training, but it was pretty hard. I've decided I will most likely post the chapters when I'm done writing them instead of 5 at a time. If there is anything you want to see happen in the book like cliffhangers, depression, christianity, romance, I will try to but it in the book if i think it fits, please write your ideas in the comments. I will not write inappropriate stuff or things that go against my beliefs. Please do not give up on this book, I will try to update as soon as possible (ASAP). I hope you've liked this book so far (again please let me know in the comments) sorry if there are any typos.
