"Are you okay?" Mystery boy said. I was speechless, I didn't answer him. "I heard you yell on the phone."
"Oh, um, yeah. I-I'm fine." I stuttered. What is wrong with me? I could feel my face heating up from embarrassment, simply from looking at this beautiful boy in front of me. His brown curls of hair looked so soft, I wanted to run my hands threw it, and his eyes. Oh, I could get lost in his eyes. Such a beautiful brown, much nicer than my boring dull brown eyes.
"So, who were you yelling at? You don't know there name?" He said, a smile forming on his lips. He's probably laughing on the inside of how dumb I am being.
"Oh, right. Earlier I was at the mall, and I ordered some shoes, really nice shoes, from the Guess store, and they didn't have them in yet, so I told them to call me when they came in. Then I got the call while I was in the bathroom, obviously, and they were asking for the name of the store assistant that was helping me, and I got frustrated, and yelled 'I don't even know his name.'" That sounds like something Promise might do. I hope he buys it. I heard somewhere that if you tell someone a really elaborate lie, they will know your lying because you put so much work into the story, and you're most likely to forget half the stuff you said anyways.
"Right." he said with a laugh. "Well, I know i'm early, but I figured we could have a little bit of us time. I feel like I haven't seen you in years."
Early? What is he early for? Oh wait, Promise said Blair and Dana were coming over tonight for a sleepover. A sleepover? Really? Who even does that anymore. This must be Blair. How come she didn't tell me that her best friend was so good looking?
"Us time, sounds awesome, but Tyler is here." I said, fidgeting with my hands, it's something I do in awkward situations.
Blair looked at my hands before focusing on my face and saying, "Tyler left as I got here. Said he had a practice to get to or something."
"Of course he does." I mumbled, still standing awkwardly by the bathroom door.
"I thought you were going to break up with him?" He said, moving back on the bed. He laid down on the pillows, with his hands under his head. Nice to see he's getting comfortable in my new room when I haven't even been able to check out the room.
"I was?" I whispered? But I was apparently loud enough for him to hear me.
"Yeah, you told me last time on the phone that you didn't like him anymore, and was going to call it off when he called you next." Now he was leaning up on his elbows, staring at me.
"Oh yeah. Well, I figured it was a bit rude to end things over the phone. I was going to do it today, since he showed up here, but apparently he's already gone." I said.
Blair was looking at me like he didn't believe a word I was saying. I can't blame him though. I have no idea what i'm talking about. Then he surprised me by patting the bed beside him.
"How come you're not up here cuddling with me? We always do this during 'us' time." He said.
My face instantly heated up at his offer, and I fumbled on my words. "You just, I mean, you looked so comfortable I didn't want to disturb you."
"Nonsense, come here." Blair said.
I crawled up the bed and lied down beside him, as far away as I could manage without falling off the side. Just as I was relaxing, he put his arm around me and pulled me to his side. I was so close to him I ended up having to put my head on his chest, or my face would be squished with his.
"So, what do you have planned tonight for when Dana gets here?" Blair said.
"Um, I haven't really thought about it. Maybe watch a movie, or play some video games or something."
