After he ran off the bus, Dan raced into the schools gates. He went to the office to collect his stuff. "Hello child, what may I do for you?" The lady at the office said. She seemed sort of.....odd. Dan thought about what to say. "Um, yeah, hi, my name is Dan Howell and I need to get eh you know..." He trailed off. The woman behind the desk clearly wasn't listening to him. There was silence for a few awkward moments. The lady then gave a giggle. Dan, being the nosy person he is, peered over the desk. His eyes widened. The secretary was reading a book. She was reading Fifty Shades Of Grey. Dan took a moment. That was something his mind wasn't prepared for. The lady suddenly spoke again. "What was that child? You want your books? Yes, yes." She reached under her desk and pulled out a stack of books, with a piece of paper on top. Dan took the stack. It was extremely heavy. "Now, child. That piece of paper on top of the books. That's your timetable, extremely important. Don't lose it. You won't get another one." She exclaimed. "Thanks." Dan said awkwardly. "Yes yes, now go child!" And with that she slammed the window shut.
Dan waddled to the side, his arms already tired from carrying the heavy stack of books. He stopped and put his books down on the bench that was beside him. He checked his timetable, trying to ignore the other person at the office who was being extremely loud. Dan folded the timetable and put it in his pocket. He found the strength to lift the books up again and turned around. Someone had turned around at the exact same moment as him, and they bumped into his shoulder.
"Oh, hey Dan!" It was that Phil one. Dan was getting sick of this boy now. "Well, shit." He sighed. Phil looked offended. "Don't curse!!" He exclaimed. Dan was getting annoyed so he blurted out, "I'll curse if I want you fucking dickhead motherfucker ballsack teethedcock pussy bitch." Dan stared at Phil. He honestly didn't mean for all that to come out. Sometimes, when people get on his nerves, stuff like that just flows out of his mouth, and he can't control it. Phil stared back at Dan, shock in his eyes, he wasn't expecting that either. They stood there for a few awkward moments, then eventually Dan rolled his eyes and walked away, towards his first class, Geography. Dan prayed that Phil wasn't in his class.
Dan walked towards Room 35. Using his shoulders he pushed open the double doors the large classroom. A women was standing at the board explaining something to the class. "Ah hello!" The woman said happily. "And you are?" She asked. Dan panicked. He knew his own name, but he wasn't very good at meeting new people. "Dan." He said abruptly. The woman nodded. "Okay Dan you can take the seat at the back there." She pointed to an empty two person desk down the back of the classroom. He walked down to the desk and plopped the books down. As he was sitting down, another person walked into the room. It was Phil.
'No no no no no.' Dan thought. He tried to block out what the teacher was saying to Phil, but he knew what was coming. Phil came down to the back and sat in the empty chair beside Dan. Phil looked at Dan, his eyes sparkling. "Hi!!" Phil whispered excitedly. Dan groaned. Phil looked hurt. "Wow! This is cool isn't it? We're in the same class!" Whispered Phil. "Yeah, sure now fuck off and leave me alone." Dan snapped. He pretended not to notice the hurt look on Phils face.
