"Your friend's are so nice." Camila commented as the dorm room door closed shut behind us.
"They're embarrassing." I countered, neither of us making a move to let go of the other's hand.
"No," she chuckled. "You're embarrassing, they were just exposing you."
"Whatever."
"Wait, my ass is the biggest thing you've ever seen?" Camila smirked.
"Shut up, Camila." I said in a warning tone, simultaneously squeezing her hand.
"And," she drew out the word. "You thought we were going to date?"
I turned my head to look at her as I pushed the front doors of the dorm room complex open.
"You're a shit."
"I'm just asking for confirmation, Lauren."
"So you can get cockier?" I asked, using my other hand to poke at her waist. She squealed slightly. "No way, I'm not going to feed into that."
Camila faked hurt, scoffing. I let go of her hand so she could enter the streetcar. I followed as she made her way to the back and slid into the seat next to her.
"If it's any consolation, you grew up pretty well."
"You're saying I got hot?"
Camila rolled her eyes, a visible smirk present on her lips. "Something like that."
I chuckled at the playful banter and grabbed the vertical bar in front of us for support as the car came to a stop. Camila lunged forward slightly and I couldn't help but notice how she scooted a little closer as she sat back in her seat. We didn't need to get off until the next stop, so the two of us kept talking.
"It went well in there, no?" Camila asked me. I nodded in agreement. "I think it helps that were both naturally affectionate and touchy; well, at least I am."
"I agree, it's easy to go along with it."
"It probably helps that this isn't completely foreign to us."
Our little secret, right?
Surprisingly, Camila's hand came up to cup my cheek and I leaned in to connect our lips. Just like that, we were kissing. Camila sucked onto my bottom lip slowly as her nails lightly ran along the skin behind behind my ear to the corner of my jaw.
Ever so teasingly, Camila's hold on me loosened as she slowly began leaning back, parting our lips. I, however, wasn't having it and leaned forward and, by default, leaning into the kiss.
Camila giggled lightly against my lips, as if she was laughing at me. And while it was ever so frustrating, maybe even making me a little insecure, it just made even hungrier for her. So Camila's hand slid to the back of my neck and she combed her fingers through the hair there slowly and periodically as we kissed. The kissing was light but powerful, thankfully without anymore teasing.
Nothing was deepen or intensified, mostly because of the time constraint and location, but when the car stopped, Camila grabbing onto me as it halted, we both pulled back reluctantly yet satisfied.
"Yeah," Camila spoke up, stepping out of the car. "That's definitely going to help."
Camila and I quickly arrived at the family-style restaurant, Lucy no where to be seen. It was still a couple minutes early and Lucy had a knack for being fashionably late - or, well, just late.
We were sliding into the booth with virtually no room between us as Camila pulled out her phone. Dinah had texted her asking if I was a good date to which Camila replied with a picture of the two of us, my hand up, flipping her off.
