My Bad Boy Best Friend

We were in the car all crushed together since the guys wanted to take one car to the party just to save gas. Let me tell you how crushed I was since it was a small white Toyota Camry 2012 and I was sitting in the middle between 2 buffed up guys.

After about 45 minutes of driving, we arrived at Kate's house. "Can you guys like, hurry up?" I asked Vance and Matt. "Um can you like, be patient?" They shot back and mocked me. After about 5 minutes they finally got out mainly because I kicked them and kept whining.

We walked together to Kate's front door and Connor rang the bell. After a minute, someone answered but I couldn't see who since I was behind 4 tall guys.

"We have a present for you, Kate and we really hope you love it even though we know you will and you better because we can't really return it." Zak said laughing a little. "Of course I'll love it. Why wouldn't I unless.... It's a bomb." I heard Kate say with a suspicious voice.

"No stupid, it's not a bomb." Logan said teasing Kate. Before Kate could say anything else, the guys looked at each other and nodded their heads and stepped away. Leaving me and Kate face to face.

Oh, my gosh. She's gotten so gorgeous, it's not like she was ugly before I left but she just... Looks better. "Well, talk!" Vance said.

"H- h- h- hey Kate!" I said while doing a little wave. "C- c- Carly? Is that you?" She asked while being on the verge of crying. I nodded my head while also on the verge of tears. What do you expect? We're best friends and we haven't seen each other for 4 years! Of course we'll cry!

"Oh, my gosh! You- you- you look so different! Straighter teeth! Skinny body! And you also kept your promise!" She said so surprised. Nice to know you didn't have faith in me. "Of course I kept my promise, we're best friends, practically sisters. I could never lie to you." I replied.

"Oh I almost forgot! Here!" And handed her my present. "I... ummmmmm.... Love it?" She said confused.

It was a glass apple thing but it didn't look like a glass... or an apple so in case she didn't like it, I got her an iPhone 5 case for a backup gift. Interesting how you can find a really nice iPhone 5 case in a gas station.

"Oops, wrong one! Haha, my bad. Here's the one!" I said nervously "A new case! I love it!" She said and she was way more happier, might I add.

"How'd you know I had an iPhone 5?" Kate asked amazed.

"Come on, you buy every iPhone that comes out." I said in a duh voice.

"True.. Come on, lets go dancing! I invited a couple of cute guys!" Kate grabbed my hand and dragged me halfway across the foyer and then randomly stopped. "Would you care to join us boys?" Kate asked them.

They stared at each other and Vance and Zak just shrugged while Connor and Matt just stood there staring at us like we were speaking a native language. "They probably wouldn't Kate. We're not good enough for them." I said while laughing.

"Alright, we'll be on the patio aka the dance floor." Kate said leading me there while Vance and Zak followed us.

I honestly thought this was kind of.... BORING!! Well not too boring but it wasn't as much fun as the others.
