"Thanks again for dropping me off." I yelled and got off at my grandparents house but I heard someone one else come out too. "Uh Lorenzo? Whatcha doing?" I questioned him but he just kept walking and the car sped on. "This is a dream" I told myself but I knew not wasn't.

"Carly." Lorenzo said and turned around making me bump into his rock hard chest. "Uh what?"

"I-" Lorenzo stopped talking and pulled me in for a kiss. I wanted to pull away but didn't want to at the same time. Then Lorenzo broke away. "I'm sorry..." Lorenzo ran his hand through his hair and walked away. "I take that's how you say goodbye? Dine the girl, kiss her at her house, and then just leave?" I teased but Lorenzo took it the wrong way.

He stopped and turned around. "Not exactly. At least not to every girl." He chuckled at his little joke but I just stared at him with a frown. "That was a-"

"I know it was a joke. But I don't find it funny. 'At least not to every girl' gee, what am I supposed find funny? That your a player?" He stood there staring at his feet. "Lorenzo, look at me. I promise your feet is still going to be there when we're done."

He looked up but not at me. I looked down at my feet and turned away. "I'm sorry." Lorenzo mumbled making me stop. "What?" I teased. "I can't really hear you."

He groaned "I said I'm sorry." I opened my mouth but the front door opened making me shut my mouth. "Carly? Is that you?" My grandmother called from the deck. "Yes!" I glanced at Lorenzo and found him staring straight into my eyes. "Who's that with you? Is that your boyfriend?" My grandfather called from behind my grandmother. "Haha no, he's just... A friend." I answered and went up to them.

"Hey grandmama, hey grandpa." I greeted them. "Why isn't your boyfriend greeting us too? How rude!" My grandfather hollered right in my ear. "Harold! There's no need to wakeup the neighbors!" My grandmother yelled at my grandfather. "Talk about peace and quiet." I mumbled. "What!?" My grandfather yelled again straight in my ear.

"Turn up your hearing aid!" My grandmother shouted into my grandfather's ear but once again, he yelled "What!?".

"I said to turn up your hearing aid!" My grandmother yelled but by the time she was done yelling, my grandfather already put his hearing aid on. "There's no need to shout in my ear, Dana. Especially when we have neighbors around that's sleeping." My grandfather chuckled.

"Hello sir." Lorenzo said behind me scaring the crap out of me. Geez, is that guy some kind of ninja/stalker?

"Hello young man." My grandmother greet kindly as always but my grandfather on the other hand, just stared at him. "Carly sweetie, out of all the boys here you choose this one?" My grandfather asked staring at Lorenzo.

"Grandpa-" "I promise you sir that I'm the one for her." Lorenzo spoke which surprised me by a lot.

"Humph." My grandfather grunted and went on inside. "Don't mind that old goose." My grandmother whispered to Lorenzo. "It's good to have you here." My grandmother turned to me and hugged me in.

"Would you like to come in? It's freezing out here and here we are just talking. Come on inside." My grandmother invited Lorenzo and didn't take no as an answer. We took my bags in and placed it in the guest room.

After hours of talking and tea, my grandparents went to bed leaving me and Lorenzo alone. "Um... I'm going to bed also." I said awkwardly and went up the stairs. "I was wondering..." Lorenzo blurted while I was walking. "Yea?" I turned around and saw him looking down at his feet again.

"If you wanted to go out with me? I know we just met and all but- but there's something about you that.. When I just see you, you take my breath away and no girl has ever took my breath away." Talk about taking my breath away.
