Matt's POV

I laid in bed all day thinking about Carly.

I heard the doorbell ring. "I'm coming! calm down!" I yelled after the person rang the bell for the fifth time. "Oh, Carly. Come in." I said letting her in.

"Sorry for um.. yelling at you." I said rubbing the back of my neck. "Its fine. Could you go like, go put a shirt on?" Carly said trying her best to not stare at my 6 pack. "Is my sexiness distracting you?" I teased which earned my a punch. "Okay, I'm going." I went up the stairs and threw on a Hollister T-shirt with my Calvin Klein pajama pants.

"So what's up?" I asked sitting down in the den. "Did you know Lorenzo was cheating on me?" Carly asked me straight out.

"Don't be mad okay?" I said slowly and I saw her try her best to stay cool. "Okay, so I knew the reason why you broke up with Lorenzo when you came back."

"How?" Carly asked. "You told me everything about him."

"Well, what'd I tell you? Actually, just tell me everything." She said sounding very interested. "You told me about a Kristy and I knew instantly that you were talking about my ex Kristy."

I took a deep breath and stared at my hands as if I never seen them before. "I knew I should've told you back at the hospital but I wanted you to have Lorenzo back as friend. Not a boyfriend but a friend."

I sneaked a glance at her and then went back to staring at my hands. "When Lorenzo lied to you about still being together, that made me sick to my stomach but I just didn't want to tell you. I knew you would find out sooner or later but I just didn't want you to find out that way."

"So she knows the truth?" Logan asked me.

The boys and I had a free period so we were just sitting outside.

"Yep. I have no idea what she's going to do though." I replied back clueless. "I'm pretty sure she'll breakup with him." Vance told me.

"Maybe."

The last bell of the day rang. I waited in my usual spot waiting for Carly in the school's student parking lot but there was no sign of her.

"Ah, the princess finally comes!" I greeted Carly trying to sound like we were dating even though we are.

No reply back. I look at her.

My smile starts to fade fast as I saw tears running down her face, I rushed to be by her side.

"Carly, what's wrong?" I said seriously wiping her tears away with my thumb.

No answer. "I- I-" she finally said but couldn't answer me.

"Who did this?" I asked with more concern.

"Th- the school." She said between sobs.

The rumors.

"Don't worry Carly." I told her, trying to calm her down by putting my arms around her and my chin on top of her head.

"I'll make sure whoever's doing this will pay and will stop." I told her.

Boy or girl, I'm making sure they pay for what they did to Carly.
