I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock blaring next to my head.

I closed my eyes which felt like 5 minutes but then Connor came in yelling. After about 30 minutes of him yelling, I fell back asleep.

The next thing I knew was a bucket of ice cold water on my head.

"CONNOR!" I screamed and shot out of my bed while he just stood there laughing. Annoyed, I clenched my fist and swung it at his jaw.

He stopped laughing and held his jaw. "Damn Carly! It's just a joke!" He yelled and stormed out my room.

Don't get me wrong, I love my brother and we're closer than most siblings but most times, I just wanna kill him and right now, is one of those times.

"Hey Connor!" I yelled for him before he went out my door. "What?" He growled. "Don't forget your bucket!" I threw the bucket and it hit him on the head. "Now get out!" I ran to the door and pushed him and the bucket out and shut my door.

"Wow Carly. Real mature!" Connor yelled from the other side of the door.

By the time I finished, it was 8:30 and school started at 9

I slowly got out my room looking left and right for any surprise attacks but thankfully, there wasn't any. At least so far. With every step I took from my bedroom to the kitchen, I looked left and right for any sense of danger like an animal in Africa being cautious for any hungry lion.

I opened the fridge looking for something to eat or drink and after I got my food and O.J. , I closed the door and felt something smack against my face.

"Surprised!" Connor sang and started laughing. I wiped my face with whatever he smacked me with and it was a pie. Wait, a pie?

"Where'd you get this pie?" I asked licking the pie off my face. "It's a secret." He grinned and walked off. I noticed he was wearing his favorite shirt and an idea popped in my head. An evil grin started to appear on my face.

"Oh Connie boo!" I sang out and ran out to him. Connor turned around and I grabbed his shirt and wiped my face with it. After Connor realized what I just did his grin went away.

I pulled back and found Connor with wide eyes. "Surprise!" I sang out just like how Connor did. "You know, being the better and more responsible person, I'm going to stop right here." Connor said sound like he was about to break in tears.

"Right." I said and ran past him before he could do anything else to me. I ran to my room and cleaned my face, changed my outfit, redid my hair, and reapplied my makeup but thankfully I don't add much.

I ran downstairs knowing I was going to be late but found Connor missing. "Please don't tell me he left already." I mumbled to myself and ran outside to the driveway looking for his car. The only car left was my dad's 1992 Camry. I pulled out my phone and called Matt knowing he was going to be late since bad boys don't ever follow the rules meaning that they're always late to school.

I went back inside but found myself locked out. I cursed myself for being so stupid and not unlocking the door before I came outside. So for that 25 minutes of my waiting for Matt to pick my up, I went around to the back to play basketball and to play with my dog, K.J.

Since I had my phone with me, I blasted my music on the outside speaker and started dancing. And if your wondering why we have an outside speaker, it's because my family throw a lot of parties and since we have a pool at the back along with speakers, Connor throw huge pool parties and what's a party without music?

While I was dancing I thought I heard a motorcycle coming but it suddenly stopped. I shrugged and kept dancing and later found Matt dancing with me.
