"Does it hurt a lot?" I ask Harry.
We're at the school's nurse and Harry has now cottonbuds in his nose to stop the bleeding.
He gives me a thumbs up, but I can still see the pain in his eyes. I quickly walk over to him and sit on the bed he's laying in. "I am so sorry he hit you, Harry."
"Don't worry, Katie. I'm all right." He says and sounds like he's having a cold.
"But, if it weren't for me you would've never gotten punched!"
"It's okay. Plus, I may now be in pain, but it's worth it. He'll stop bullying you now."
"Harry, you do know, that he just punched you in the face. That doesn't seem like he's going to stop."
"No no. You don't understand. He only punched me, because I'm right. I scared him."
"You scared him? Harry he just punched you. And by the way, you are as scary as a mouse."
"You're the one to talk. You are as scary as a squirrel."
I shoot him a look that says 'seriously?' "You know, that squirrel's are scary."
"No, they aren't." Harry says. He's clearly biting a laugh back.
"Yes, they are." I say and Harry begins laughing. "You, Katie, are the only person I know, who's afraid of squir-- Ow." He suddenly stops laughing and a look of pain flashes over his face.
A sudden wave of panic washes over me. "Oh god. Can I help you somehow?"
Harry gets a mischiefious smirk on his face. "I think a kiss would make me feel much better."
As we arrived in front of my house, we both get out of the car. We awkwardly stand there.
"Uhm . . Bye, I guess?" Logan says.
"Yup, okaybyeseeyoutomorrow." I quickly say, turn around, enter my house and then close the door.
I throw my bag away and exhale.
What a day.
I'm halfways on the stairs when I hear the doorbell ring. I groan. Who's that now?
I walk back to our front door and open it. Looking straight in Logan's face. Okay, maybe not straight into his face, since he's about 4 inches taller than me.
"What do you want, Logan?" I say half bored, half begging him to leave me alone, so I can go up to my room and lie on my bed for the rest of the day.
"Always good to see, how happy you are seeing me." He winks at me and continues. "Anyways, before you slam the door right into my face, you didn't tell me when you will leave for school."
"Oh, uhm. I can't remember agreeing on taking you with me to school and--"
"Come on, Katie. We've been already through this." He cuts me off.
I freeze at the name he calls me. "Do not call me 'Katie'." I scowl. "And, no, you've been through this with yourself."
"Touché. Okay, but can you please take me with you to school?" He says and looks at me with this huge seagreen puppy dog eyes. I groan.
"Fine. You'll be waiting here 7:45" I say and point my finger at him. "But don't you think, that I gave in, because of your ridiculous puppy eyes."
He winks. "Don't worry, Kathy. No one can resist this." He says and moves his hands down his body.
"You're incorrigible." I laugh shaking my head.
